Harry Smith is having a rough time converting this year compared to last year [26/40] but his ability to create tries is remarkable -- 3 assists & 4 pre-assists from 7 tries tonight.
The 40/20 by Smith early on when Wigan were a man down won't get talked about enough, but they scored shortly after and stopped Leigh getting any momentum in the early stages. Crucial kick that set the tone for the rest of the match.
Hardaker had an abysmal game tonight. Leigh started well and faded quickly. Hopefully this isn’t a start of a decline for the Leopards, but Wigan looked good tonight I’ve gotta say.
I'd definitely keep field at 6 if he's going to be out for a few weeks then I'd put french there just not sure who can play fullback then but there's no way I'd put Cust back in halves he's not good enough and he's defence is suspect aswell he misses alot of tackles.
@@orinorio1 I hope so unless they fuck Powell off and put him at 9 Powell's very good on defence but that's all he offer's we've got a team off average players apart from 3or4 of them
Off the ball contact on O’Brien that is a red card and Leigh would of won the match. And Field never grounded that ball. Crazy what refs will do to make sure Wigan will win.
Wigan for the treble for me ,first few games they was shocking and still won ,now its clicking they look fast sharp playing like an nrl side defo team too beat
Highlights | Leigh Leopards v Wigan Warriors, Round 7, 2023 Betfred Super League 31.3.23 0823am hey buddy - you're the saints fan, stay over there for a moment... hardly top notch opposition, though. 50 points is probably the tally wigan should be racking up.
Leigh were a bit unlucky....O'Brien being taken out, the Field fumble, the chargedown that French turned into a great try....but to be hobest Wigan were the better team and French was unplayable. Great atmosphere at Leigh and they will get back on track.
@@ryanmcguinness7898 I wholeheartedly agree, which spells trouble for Wigan. I expect Saints to finally rebound and run in a comfortable victory on Good Friday.
It was an incredible atmosphere, a superb win. Very pleased, nobody had an off game. Only worry now is Field
He is out for a few weeks.Hamstring.
French absolutely outstanding in this game.

Lee Briers leaving is playing a big factor. Lee is at the Broncos now who are undefeated so far and there Goal kicker is been very good.
Next week is going to be funny Mark Percival kicks all Conversions Harry Smith Misses Conversions that's if pies even score agaist us

Havard had a great game
We were having a right old party in the away end last night. It's a shame to see so much bitterness about it all. Just enjoy the matches 😂
That was way more entertaining then the Roosters and Parra game

Agreed though Bevan is better at FB .Cust will have to cover at 6 now. Its his last year of his contract so will be gone end of the season.

No way that first field try is given the other way round. Big club bias as usual
Liam Moore helped pies win and the that jai field is a cheat

A slight hint of bias with a dollop of bitterness there perhaps?
