Love Cal. Everybody keeps saying he’s soft because he avoids contact. That’s ridiculous. Julio invited that contact on a much bigger frame and look what happened. He never played a full season and the end of his career has been riddled with injury. Calvin is smart. There are other players on this team to hand out punishment and be physical. Play your game, Calvin. Keep scoring those TDs and ta hell with the haters.
We don’t care as much if he avoids contact. We care that he runs backwards and sideline to sideline instead of running up. Then we lose yards, that’s the only annoying part. It hasn’t cost us big yet, but I know it will if it doesn’t get fixed

@@Ajmovinwork Every player in this league has ups and downs. Dean said it best in his presser today. Calvin is fine. And now that Kyle is coming on as that true number 1 threat, Calvin can thrive as that touchdown scoring demon of a number 2. Just watch the man work. There’s a lot of football left to be played.

Time for Ridley to break out and make this O scary AF. CP kicked it off with experience and athleticism. The Unicorn has now appeared and put the league on notice and now it is time for Calvin to blow up and make defenses scared to even watch film on us.

This will be ridley's statement game this week. I think arthur smith is getting better at setting the next team up with last week's plan . Look for more one on one's with ridley. Ridley just has to look the ball in and catch it and turn up field.

It’s the Rop-a-dope. Ridley is making everyone think that he is missing a step. As soon as you think he is a none threat then boom 20 touchdown season
It's also that ole "rope a dope" shuffle he does going 2 to 3 yards back when he catches the ball instead of heading up field that he has to eliminate from his game...He's one my favorites and a cold receiver outside of that. He just needs to be put in space
@@user-Drop_Davis yeah he has gotten crunched a couple of times already this season. He starts looking down field before securing the catch. Julio just a bit bigger so hitting him was like hitting a wall. But my boy Ridley is going to come through for us. 😁
I appreciate Calvin. People talking trash are ridiculous . Its a long season. Cal got his first td against Carolina so expect one this week! I don't want my 190lb wr trying to act like he is physical. Live for another down unless the game on the line. The best ability is availability. Besides this man was working through some personal issues so give my guy a moment to get right!
Well, in the Miami game, that I watched three times. I specifically remember seeing him turned up the field and fight through a few yards of contact to get the first down. That's clutch. Hell, he rolled and twisted in the air-in true Predator fashion-for a touchdown catch. I said, "Look it's an acrobat." He'll be just fine. Well, certainly know in the next few weeks. But, up to now. They don't look like week 1!!!
Yes this week against Carolina will be Calvin Ridley’s breakout game to let the rest of the NFL know that he’s back (not that he had ever left)

Calvin has all the talent to become a great receiver in the coming 5 years. But he must become more FEARLESS and smarter in moving the chains to compliment his lethalness in the redzone.

People getting on Rid but remember Julio left because the team wasn't winning. If the team wins Ridley knows that's more important. Obviously every receiver wants 10+ targets and a touchdown but he's a team guy. We don't know why he missed London, and if we give him time to settle in to the new offense, he'll have his games--he's that talented. Plus if everyone turns it up just a bit there's no doubt we're a playoff team. RISEUP

Now there's no Julio Jones you're the Falcons number one-- make Julio proud. It's time to reestablish yourself with the Carolina Panthers. Let them know early and often who the ankle- breaker is....
Calvin has nothing to prove. He’s the best number 2 receiver in the league, and will continue to be now that Kyle is turning into a true number 1. Notice those stat lines against Miami. Kyle had Julio number yards with no TDs and Calvin scored. That’s when this offense clicks. Add CP to that mix and you’re keeping coordinators up at night. They’re coming together, especially the o line, and this week hopefully we see them take another step forward.
@@jordanbyates I suspect Ridley will get eight to ten targets against Carolina. That's how many targets you get when you're the number one reciever on the team.

Route Running doesnt mean nothing if u dont win. Lets get this defense going for god sake. We can score 50 points on offense. But if the other team can score 51 points & win its pointless.
