Yes. In some places forza horizon 2 looks sooo realistic than any other racing game today. Thats because of the lightning and reflections. Plus the rain is also amazing.
The reflections of the cars in FH2 are horrible sometimes if you look at it from an angle though, it makes the car look way different in a boxy way and the rims disappear in the reflections, the graphics are good though

My "perfect" forza Horizon would be: story, progression and vibes(including festival) from fh1, sounds, music, feeling and introduction from fh2, festivalS, environment and the "challenges" from fh3 and the looks, crazy builds and life service from fh4. The sizes and diversity much better than fh4 and fh3. I guess that's it

I can't be the only one that thinks the water particle effects just look better in this game than fh3 and 4? Maybe because the maps in those games are far ahead but I personally feel like the car detail and water particles are just the best in this one
Yest thats true even the reflections on road after rain are amazing. Its just beautiful driving at full speed while rain is passing by you. Lightning is also better in fh2 than fh3 and 4 so that makes this game looks fresh and beautiful.

The atmosphere is bland. There's no true story. Car sounds are trash. The game is not polished. The focus isn't even on car culture either. And the music suddenly became- trash. They just ruined Horizon with Horizon 4. And the main reason to this? Them trying to cater more and more to kids and casual players (which is NOT the core fanbase and playerbase of Horizon. The core fanbase and playerbase are car enthusiasts). And in terms of a marketing position- it worked well for them. They got a lot of sales. But from an actual Horizon player's viewpoint? It was a failure. I hope that with Horizon 5 and Motorsport 8, the focus shifts back to car culture once and for all.
