I just start watching, but Jack nerding about photography with an actual astronaut on the ISS - this has to get epic. Thanks NSF, thanks NASA, thanks Don and Jack.
I came back now after having watched a good portion of it, but having to go meanwhile. It's incredible to get any kind of live feed from astronauts while they're in space. Feels like being part of witnessing the last frontier.
Didn't get a chance to watch this live, but wanted to hop in the comments to mention how incredibly moving it was to watch Jack's utter joy. I literally cried a little hearing Houston pass it over to Jack. What an incredibly cool experience. Way to go @nasaspaceflight team for setting this up and pulling it off so beautifully. Such a joy to watch. You guys rock.
Jack, is that spelt Jevin or Jayvin? Thank you, gentlemen, for running in the giant hamster wheel. Congratulations on this interview! You seemed nervous or was that you trying to get through all of the questions in time? Thank you to you, D and Max for sharing your thoughts on both Don's and your wonderful photos. Your final shot reminds me of the old school Lego Space logo. Looks nothing like it, but the yellow and the intersection of the disc takes me back to my youth.
Wow, well done NSF, short of sending Jack, Dee or Max to the ISS (you'll have to be quick)! That's the closest we'll get to experiencing taking photos from space. Don is such a star, I soo need an Orbital Sidereal drive now 😀
Wonderful! Such great questions, and letting this great man talk freely and uninterrupted. Top Class ‼️🥰 👏👏 Edit: the conversation in the rest of the video was great too! 👍🥰
Amazing stream NSF WOW a moment in NSF history ...but Houston we have a problem you sent Jack, Dee & Max off the rails talking about their photo's afterwards
That camera mount should definitely have been included in the regular payload sent up. Thank you Dan's relatives for your sacrifice on the altar of photography!
I think we just witnessed one of Jack's dreams come true, Very moving!
An interview with an Astronaut in space. WOW!! This is pretty epic! Keep up the great content, NSF! 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!

Everyone is going OMG for Jack, but honestly, Don is given a chance to talk about his photography. He could also go OMG.
Fantastic. Thanks Jack and the NSF team 🥓
Amazing. Thank you NSF
Max is a true artist! Incredible shots there!
Great Episode! Thank you for sharing

It’s posted on NASA channel as well. That’s freaking cool
Head over to NASA's media channel @NASAgovVideo and give them some love. Only a few hundred views there so far. 😅
Orbital sidereal drive photography is bananas I thought it was a cgi render! Don is a genius for building that
Gosh. This is spectacular!!! Way to go @nasaspaceflight !
This is a huge milestone ❤
This was awesome! I love that he was "on location" for this interview. Added an extra cool factor.
Thanks guys that was great 👍
Very cool special NSF event.

I'm watching this 23 hours after the stream, and I have NEVER seen that many ads in a video on UA-cam. 👀
Your creativity is fantastic!
That was awesome

2:30 Jack's face as he hears “Jack Beyer, this is Mission Control Houston”! 😁
Seriously!
what??? nsf did a live interview with someone in space? is this the first time theyve done this??
Wow just wow- very cool
This amazing video needs more marketing!❤
Glad you think so!
Your doing great Jack
I was listening during work, how many people were watching?
epic.
that 800mm monster is insane hahahha awesome
Nice music
I can’t even imagine what you are filling now.
Don Pettit watches AvE?!?
The aliens will destroy the ISS,and you will never come home. 😢
I am confused. Wasn't ISS decommissioned years ago and burned in orbit?
Nope, still up there. You might be thinking of Sky Lab or Mir.
I'm not sure what news you're watching but no, the ISS is still there
@sequilla maybe MIR then. Okay. Thanks.
Negative, I believe we still have two astronauts stranded on the ISS… two week mission turned to a half year mission. No thank you
@nrom5960 You can thank boeing for that
