It’s wonderful how patient you are with Agatha and let her do her own thing without worrying if she will make a mess with the paint or the glue. Some parents would yell ‘don’t do this, don’t do that’ which I think would make the child nervous or inhibit their creative exploring. You truly are great parents.

Agatha has become so talkative! Aw, I love kids that age. Sometimes they drive you crazy when they chatter nonstop the entire day. I knew a boy like that. It's like his mouth was attached to his eyes. As soon as his eyes opened, he'd start talking. But it's adorable! And you realize it's only a stage and one day they will grow up, so you appreciate it a bit more.

It is amazing to see how little children learn and acquire language! So interesting to hear Agatha speak Russian… as our babies learn and grow to speak English in America… and each child according to their nation, culture and family. Not sure if Vika or Tolya have jobs and it appears Vika is a stay at home mum. It's a far cry from families where both parents work, kids are in daycare all day and it's rushing around in traffic or commuter hell to get stuff done and being stressed out. Moments like this, simple pleasures such as having tea in the garden and hanging out with the kids is what life should be about. Being in the moment:)

Yu should make snow cream for Agatha. Fill a bowl with clean snow, take it inside and add a teaspoon of vanilla extract, some milk or cream, and sugar to your desired sweetness. Stir well until it’s like a slushy frozen bowl of goodness. Enjoy eating.
