Wish I had it a couple of days ago when I dropped a tiny rubber washer down the sink. 😁 Fly swatter, bent wire... It's swimming with Jack Sparrow now. 😂
I have these pliers, and they definitely come in handy every now and then. I always thought the V-notch past the three curved notches was for grabbing square stock rather than hex nuts, but I guess it can do both things.
Those are handy pliers, for sure. I grab the telescoping magnet when I drop a screw. Being able to grab a fastener or fish a loose wire through a narrow hole is worth the extra cost.
This is nice plier, I have the bent tip version too. I like the gripping features on the jaws. I like how knipex tries to improve every tool. My other long nose pliers are very simple at the jaws, and I can't get a firm grip on round screws or conductors, they are mostly useless in most cases. Knipex is my favorite brand for pliers. 👍
They have so many great fliers and I must have about two dozen of them. However I don't have the straight or the 45 degree. I also could use the "S" style pipe wrenches from Sweden. I also want the locking hose clamp pliers. And the parrot I've been trying to find the hardest which would be 86 43 250US. That is a 10in with a 15 degree offset handle so you can get into a tight area where there's a flat surface. I think it's the unicorn Knipex 10 inch pliers wrench!
Am I the only one that caught that the opening in your box was 2 3/8" not 2 7/8". Just busting your balls it doesn't matter, but does drive home the point of the demonstration that you can fish around in a tiny hole. Nice video as always.
Damn I was hesitant to even say anything cause we all do the same thing everyday and was hoping you didnt take me seriously, I just thought of how I'll do that with 3/8 and 7/8, and like 7/16 and 15/16. I guess I look too close, kinda like seeing the forest for the trees. Dont change the video bro your inner perfectionist will be ok haha. Thanks again for the vid.
If you are talking about the X2, they are a solid tool. As a matter of fact, I believe crescent has done a great job with all their new redesigned tools, and they are super affordable!
absolutely! and Chris, I want to thank you for always swinging by! you are the man brother. And I appreciate you!! I don't want you to think I don't notice you.
I wish Knipex offered those jaws with their shorter pliers. It's a great idea, and deserves to be featured in some 200mm variants.
Nice demonstration with that box, I really appreciate videos which show things in practice like that and not only provide talking about tools
I agree! Thanks for stopping by!

Great video - thanks for the demo with real world applications.
I'm actually most impressed with when you bent that metal. They seem to be incredibly sturdy no give

My wife was listening, and when you said, “about 7 inches,” she chimed in and said, “ that’s what he said…”
🤣😂😅 We never grow up…
Thx for the videos…
The business is the same, the difference is in the handle. 🤣🤣🤣 ROTFL 🤣🤣🤣
I was going to make the title Extra Long (that’s what she said) Long nose pliers! 😂😂😂

@@skid7519 you were a heck of a lot closer than I was 😂 there a reason they say measure twice cut once.. 🤦♂️😂
I cut it 3 times and it's still short. Smh idk what is going on. Hahaha cheers buddy.
Lol, that's not for tightening bolts, its for holding nuts behind long channels so you can thread the bolt by hand or with a power tool.
What are your thoughts on the crescent double hinge needle nose pliers?
If you are talking about the X2, they are a solid tool. As a matter of fact, I believe crescent has done a great job with all their new redesigned tools, and they are super affordable!
I have both the straight , and curved iteration , they can for sure save your ass !
