It's berber language, called tamashaq which is amazigh it's a variety of numerous tongues of berber.
Touaregs call themselves "Kal Tamashaq" which means : those who speak amazigh.
By the way tamezgha is the vast territory of berber people from the oasis of siwa till the canari Islands and from Algiers till toumbouctou
