The birthday celebration program in the respect of Pt. Rama kant ji senior Tabla exponent of punjab was celebrated at Red cross Bhawan Jalandhar on 13-9-2024.
This classical musical evening presided over by honourable chief guest Dr. Rashmi Vij ji (principal, police Dav public school Jalandhar). As an educationist & promotor of art n culture in society she enthusiastically attended & appreciated the performances of different artists on this musical birthday celebration. Program started with the lighting of lamp & Saraswati Vandana ,bhajan by Sh. Sukhdev sagar ji with disciples . Mr. Mani bhardwaj one of the budding disciples of pt. Rama kant ji from Bombay performed Teen Taal with special techniques & varieties from the rich heritage Of his tabla vadan ghrana . Mr. Chaitanya sharma played raga - kirvani on violin. Renowned classical vocalist prof. Smt. Sarita Pathak ji specially came from Delhi to attend the event n she performed beautifully raga - Gaud - Malhar and enthralled the audience.Sh. Sidharth chaitergee accompanied with Tabla .
