Sounds surprisingly close to me. The Diezel is more muffled and the Marshall is brighter. I think some EQ will make them even more similar sounding. Nice results for an amp, famous for its high-gain sound!
diezel does it better, so many marshall modded clones out there that are cheaper than a be and offer comparative tones. there's no alternative to amps like a vh4 or a mark series.
hey great playing, and really appreciate you showing the versatility of the ch1 here. i love the friedman wwsb, but its gain channel is still too "hair metal" rather than modern metal. i wonder if you see this comment if you could advise if you were using any reamping, power station, etc in order to get the diezel to sound this way, or if in a true "basement or low volume jam" scenario if it sound this good? Great demo bro!
Thank you! The Diezel will sound great at any volume without power soaks or whatever.. I just start smiling everytime I plug my guitar in. Never had an amp like this!
For this type of music the Marshall is probably the ideal amp. The Diezel would excel at for some other stuff and with a different guitar. It's a weird comparison.
Absolutely worth. It's built like a tank, sounds awesome and very useful Especially in love situations. Only thing I regret is, that I didn't discover it many years earlier
The Plexi is waayyy better at those cosmic Hendrix-esque tones. Diezel leaves me flat there. Though I hear the Hagen may be better in fact in Ch1 for that kind of thing.
Its amazing how nothing sounds like a cranked plexi... Love it

Exactly what I thought! The EQ in the Vh2 is very effective...
Have you played a Friedman BE100 and how would it compare to the Diezel for rock?

What’s your verdict on the VH2? Will you be keeping it? Worth the price?

Your VH2 is 6L6 charged ?
Nope. Kt77
@@tonsoftonez thxxx alot :)
Yup, diezel ch1 does not have the spank of superlead. This is a good represention of the differences. Horses for courses.
