My sister has the older VL60 single zone. It has a heavy lid and a real seal. Iceco uses Secop compressors in everything. I have had 3 Dometics. A older CFX. Two CFX3's. And they are not finicky on power. They are high priced. My old CFX is still running. 13 years old. Runs everyday as a freezer. My aunt is using my 55IM as a freezer in her apartment. It's ran for 3.5 years straight. And my girlfriend has my 25 in her car. She's a nurse and runs it off a Bluetti EB70. You want top of the line. Engel, Snomaster and National Luna are better than ARB, Dometic and Iceco. There's 40 year old Engels running around Australia's outback right now. National Luna and Snomaster are what are in every hunting and safari vehicle in Africa. WHO uses National Luna and Engels to move medicines that need to be refrigerated overland. I have a big dual zone 90qt Snomaster. It has a BIG compressor. 66-88 watts it'll pull. 2.75 inches of insulation. Expedition fridge. Can operate in temperatures of 150 degrees. I've ran it in 106 degree weather up 116. And it cycles normally. My sisters ICECO won't stop running.
