Austin Butler as Feyd is absolutely stunning--he nails the physical role, the mental broken complexity. And his incredible mimicry of Stellan Skarsgard's voice--brilliant and jarring. This is an actor to watch.
Now I've watched it 100+ times, I'm here for all behind the scenes, interviews, film books and any extras Dune Part 2 can throw at me!! "ADDAAM RESHII A-ZAANTA!" ⚔✊🏽⚔
Big fan of the books for years I can still love the books and appreciate these films as just what they are, a great piece of art. I can relate to being somewhat disappointed by certain changes but still a masterful work of film making
The movie was exciting but the changing of the merits and intentions of the book was quite sad in many ways. I’m sure Chani’s disposition was altered for a more interesting take. Leaving out the weirding way and the voice used by Chani was misrepresenting her. A little too much war. More character development I would preferred. Why change Dr. Haynes to a woman? Chani’s father? The musical score and scenery is absolutely stunning. The novel stands along in substance and didn’t need altering. However, the show is excellent but annoying in some ways to Dune book fans.Hoping that Dune 3 will clear some of that up.
@@RandomVidsforthought communists that can't let go of their failed ideology that killed millions and starved multimillions more. After it's economic failure in the 89, they didn't go away and merely pushed it socially and culturally; like Mao did. Hence the woke people were born. It's all the same, fucking communists! So yeah, I'm well aware of what it is and I'm well aware the communist ideology is strong with university and Hollywood morons. Zendaya gives off that (disgusting) people's vibe.
She was not represented well from the book standpoint. Her points were made but more like unsophisticated person with little reasoning in political issues and situations. While all the wicked folks were painted cunningly intelligent with vile wickedness. Maybe that as the point!
She was not unsophisticated. Chani grew up beliving in the Fremen but not the prophecy. She knew the prophecy was a means of controlling the Fremen and was vocal about it.

Patriarchy 😂😂😂
The little twink! I laughed and groaned at his foolishness.
Don't like the Zendaya character. She seems to be a spoiled brat, the gen Z woke vibes that come from her are annoying.
Using the term woke even without knowing its original meaning
