I just saw Alex (aka LXX) at his concert with Corbyn and I’m checking him out now, because I liked his set a lot. Really sad that high4 didn’t last long. And that I didn’t find them earlier, because I started listening to kpop in 2010 😂😂
The biggest issue with this group was that the agency sucked at promoting them and their songs didn't always reflect their actual skills. The only track that I really liked was DOA, and even that track had a lot of mixed reviews; the members' vocals and rap were outstanding, of course, but the arrangements and the part distribution sucked, tbh. Idk who was in charge of mixing the track in the studio, but they weren't good at their job. Also, having someone like Alex and Youngjun and not giving them more hard-hitting rap songs is actually a crime. "Hookga" was a vibe, and I actually prayed for more of this kind of content, but it never came. P.S "Baby boy" was my least favourite song of theirs, they never suited that cutesy image.
Loved them so much. The potential....the talent.
legit miss them so bad :( still listen to their songs to this day!
i heard hookah when i was a newbie to kpop, but ive never heard anything else from them no wonder
