PSA is gonna devalued these cards since they might have slight weathered damage; they are super critical, even on straight out of the package cards. Great discovery though.

Nothing is funnier than his most expensive cards sitting in the middle of the binder, not the top. That first edition holo set was easily $8k-$12k. Easily.
I grew up in the 90’s and when Pokémon came out,we all loved it.I collected all the cards I could get,literally had a full book.Wish I could remember where I left that book.
Check the attic, under the bed, crawlspace, basement, garage, cabinets, closets, etc... hope this helps!
I still have my old binder of original Pokémon cards from when I was a kid. I should get them checked out.

I have a booster pack charizard in a box somewhere, along with every other holo in protective plastic. I remember the first Pokémon movies holo went straight to plastic. I’m kicking myself for losing track of my collection.

Pokémon came out when I was 11, nearly had a full first addition collection. figured I outgrew them when I was 19 and gave them all to a little girl looking for Pokémon cards at the Fasmart I was working at... that was 16 years ago, I feel stick sometimes when I think about it. had them in a binder just like this but had all the holos in hard cases.

I have a binder that’s about 3x as thick as this. I’ve got every card from base set thru rocket. Plus some gym leaders. A few random promo cards, e3 pikachu, ancient mew, etc. random first editions like shadowless machamp. Not sure I want to go through all of the grading stuff but I know there’s probably 50-100k worth of cards in there depending on grading.
Same man, I live in the UK and I’m scared that my cards will get lost or damaged on the way to PSA
I have every single card from Base to Neo Destiny all in LP-NM. Starting from all Shadowless. At most everything i have is 20k soooooo lolol
These cards look like psa 4-6 at best. Double stacked cards, unsealed binder exposing them to different temp throughout the decades will do damage. These plastic sleeves are often loose collecting dust over the years.

Oof, by the time he gets his cards back from PSA, so will have the thousands of other people waiting in this 8 month wait, and thus an influx of supply over time and the price will drop for everything except Charizard and a few other extremely rare holos. I'd hate to be the people finding theirs late.

@Josh Horton Do you think the price sill continue dropping over the next half year as everyone who's gotten theirs sent into PSA starts to get theirs back? I honestly think everything except Charizards and a few holos will slowly crash in the next year or two as people continue finding and grading all their old cards. The price has already started dropping, indicating the high demand at first has been met, all the collectors who were able to pay big bucks have already, and more and more people are going to continue finding cards even as these big collectors have bought all they wanted. It'll only get worse the more cards people find, and the slower PSA gets.
I have about 900 cards and looking to sell them in great condition! I have a video on my page if your interested!??

My grandson just sold 3 binders full of Pokemon cards that my daughter had from about the age of 12, so around 1997. I flipped through them quickly when I was there and they were cleaning out his close. I remember seeing Charizard, a yellow cheek Pickachu, and many holographic cards. My daughter never played with them. She collected them and put them plastic sheets immediately. He sold everything for $140. He could probably have sold it for thousands. 😟
I can guarantee that the 3 binders would have been worth minimum $5000 today

Yeah first edition cards are the rarest but theres also shadowless cards witch are the cards that have no shadow on the border and they are in between first edition and unlimited

The dark charizard is pretty close. One sold 2 days ago for $1800 in a psa 9. The pikachu though is way off psa 10s go for 300.
I bought two first edition jungle Pikachu‘s for $40 online and I have them on hand now and they look great

yes, but only if in gem mint perfect condition... which it most assuredly is not. just look at the way he handled the cards on this vid...and he wouldn't have been even half that careful back then.
Base Charizard: $200-500 raw (PSA 8 - $800+)
Base 2 Charizard: $100-300 raw (PSA 8 - $500+)
1st. Ed. Dark Charizard: $250-600 raw (PSA 8 - $700)
Base Blastoise: $150-300 raw (PSA 8 - $300+)
Those are the hightlights, unlikely they will fetch a PSA 10 or even a 9 as PSA has gotten better and being consistent with grades for pokemon due to all the hype. 10s are VERY hard in vintage unless its pack fresh and then it's still not a guarantee.
Prices change weekly if not daily so there you go.

The first edition machamp is way less rare because they only came out with the first edition version without a non first edt version. It came in one of the base set decks that came out in the early 90s and never got put in the original base set packs you could buy
