New episode "Kerry & Amit's Wedding BTS" coming soon. Make sure to subscribe for an update! Thank you for watching the series and make sure to give a like if you checked out all four parts... WHICH IS DOPE
Keep up the good work Adam, you helped me so much that you can't imagine, for that a big thank you! Btw did you already filmed your friend's wedding, do you think it's a good idea to do it?
I shot my first wedding last week, which was much smaller than this one is, with a friend of mine and it was so hard for me to get good looking shots although we were two people. Biggest props to you for shooting this one all by yourself ! The BTS footage helped me a lot ! Thanks man.
after watching all the parts back to back.. I learned SO much from you. and I definitely cried watching it all come together. such talent you have!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us. I have been wanting to shadow someone for a while now because I am a visual learner.... I came across your channel today and I no longer feel the need to shadow anyone because I just did it in the comfort of my home. Again, THANK YOU! this is so helpful to me!!
Hello Kraig, I'm watching every video training but I would like to know if will be posible to watch the final edited video of any of you weddings, how long do the final video lasts, because the trailler is from 5 to ten minutes correct, do you use the same party music or do you replace the music, that is what confused me a lot and became dificult if I have to use two or three cameras. Please I need your help. I live in NJ and love to do video and photography.
haha craig, love the ingenuity with the speaker connection. I've actually had to jerry-rig something on a rack system that was set the morning (filming in afternoon) and nobody was around to show me where a line out was. So what I ended up doing was opening an access panel using my XLR y cable to split the output from the amp to the speaker with half going to my Roland R26 line input. Speakers were mounted on the ceiling so I couldn't do your method. Worked a treat. In this case I would have probably split the mic xlr in a similar fashion to cut down on the noise. That was actually my one critique with your final film - if you use audition or a good plugin like iZotope you could have greatly killed that background hiss coming from the mic.
Your videos are so much help man! it's nice to see an in-depth comparison to myself as I try to push my quality forward. Although, I have dropped a few extra thousand bucks lately bc of your equipment vids lol. Keep up the great work!
Yes the good thing is I will have 2 cameras and 3 different lenses. All I will need is to rent audio. I'm really EXCITED, it's next year so I have time.
I know it's good he had started this, I could go to school for this kind of stuff but honestly being creative and telling a story is key to bring successful!
i am learning so much from this but its so very different to what happens at an Indian wedding for example i have done 2 full weddings so far and there was zero need for audio and there is so much people at the weddings that i go to i had one at 800 guests lol
Hi, Would you be kind and tell us which video I must look at to learn what your settings are while shooting, and what do you change while shooting. How do you solve the white balance problem moving from place to place. thank you.
great instructional video for the inspiring wedding videographer. one question regarding equipment; which edelkrone model are you using for this shoot? recently purchase DJI Osmo, but still cannot replicate the smooth slides i see in your footage. Keep up the great work! BMC
Great work! Fantastic! I have a question? I can't see that you are using ND Filters or i am wrong...how do you achieve the shallow depth of field without ND filters? T
You are using Apple MacBook Pro for editing on road. Is it fast enough to do it? You are using poxy media or not to import the files? The videos size is it 4K? Thanks
Thanks for another brill vidutorial Kraig, just one question what is the part you used and how exactly do you hook it into the speaker/zoom (is it the out and in ports?)
I have a question. What do you do if there is NO "pause and resume" button? Example#1: What if you are currently filming the bride and then you wish to film her bridesmaid who are outside. How do you shift from "the bride" scene who is inside the room to shoot "the bridesmaids" outside the room? Do you just keep the camera rolling while you are heading outside to shoot the bridesmaids and then just cut out the "irrevelant scenes" later as you edit the videos? I may sound silly but in smartphones, it is easy to press the pause button so that you won't have to film unnecessary/irrelevant parts of the event. Then, just press the resume button when you are ready for the next scene without creating a new file. Please help me understand. I am a newbie. I never had a dslr camera before. I plan to purchase a C100 because I like the old features compared to the newer Canon models.
American weddings are (largely) so much more lavish than British weddings. I have noticed that American couples are so keen to 'work it' for the camera, compliant and patient with direction from videographers. The English in particular are camera shy and happy with any old shite as long as the vows were filmed. They also want everything for £250 tops but think nothing of spending four times that on a photographer. Looking at wedding videographers outside the bespoke London companies, they are light years behind in terms of art.
Not even part time and probably won't be for some years - the market over here is either London bespoke companies charging thousands or Uncle Ted charging ten pints of bitter and a sausage roll at the reception. In between you have a few very poor videographers cleaning up at £600-800 (unaware middle class clients). There is one bloke in a city of 1million people cleaning up with some dreadful work. I would put a link but just look him up (birmingham wedding videography uk). Going to just do the odd wedding and look towards documentary work instead. I did one last year and found it easy.
My documentary style brain is screaming that you're missing half the shots. Somehow I have to learn to get into the short film mindset, where all you need is a few decent looking shots and good audio.
guys ur videos are too awsome.. please please help me.. my budget for camera is 1.5 lakh Indian rupees, I.e. 2250 us dollars which camera would u suggest me to buy for weddings portfolio and movie making please please please suggest me a gud camera
First off you are awesome. I have never attended film school, just youtube and you are definitely my top professor. I have done some photographer in the past, however your videos encouraged me to give video a try. I just received my drone 107 cert and recently started a small business on the side. But the link below is my first wedding video that I filmed. I took a lot of your advice, techniques, and used some of the gear within my budget. I filmed this with two 70d's but used a lot of the other stuff you recommended. Definitely some shaky areas but I felt it was pretty good for my first one. Thanks again keep up the videos. ua-cam.com/video/WfJhWH_h3aY/v-deo.html
+lamosos lol m8 pretty certain he means that he will work for free. Most internships, at least where I live, no money changes hands. The person is usually given the internship position for free or the person getting the internship may even get a little salary
ImTotallyTechy That freeloader mentality won't get you far. Good internships are worth a substantial bribe. At the very least, occasional sexual favors.

can you explain more how you've attached the "thing" with the speaker. thanks
It's a highly sophisticated mechanism most commonly known as "Gaff Tape".
Keep up the good work Adam, you helped me so much that you can't imagine, for that a big thank you!
Btw did you already filmed your friend's wedding, do you think it's a good idea to do it?
Yes please! we'd love to see more of your solo work BTS
I shot my first wedding last week, which was much smaller than this one is, with a friend of mine and it was so hard for me to get good looking shots although we were two people. Biggest props to you for shooting this one all by yourself ! The BTS footage helped me a lot ! Thanks man.

This guy know best angles to shoot with.....keep posting very helpful

Yes the good thing is I will have 2 cameras and 3 different lenses. All I will need is to rent audio. I'm really EXCITED, it's next year so I have time.

sei un vero professionista!!

I know this is pretty late, but what is that slider? seems pretty cool how it goes with you to extend your slide length
you are the best in the word
Great work! Fantastic! I have a question? I can't see that you are using ND Filters or i am wrong...how do you achieve the shallow depth of field without ND filters? T

soooo cool! learned some things from this video!
I lost count of your gun hand gestures! Ahaha
SO MANY HAND GUNS
How have you done the slomo because the video is 4k and its not a red raven 4k120fps
Thanks for another brill vidutorial Kraig, just one question what is the part you used and how exactly do you hook it into the speaker/zoom (is it the out and in ports?)
Do you have any other tutorials that has a more detailed account of this?
Sorry how do you plug the audio device to the speakers to record the Audio?
Hello Friend. What brand and lavalier microphone model do you use to record the audio from the speakers in a ceremony?
why didn't you use a glide cam hd 400 for 10:46? it would have given you great shots
10:30-10:47
Jesus Bautista Probably because it is almost impossible as a single shooter haha
NY? where I can see an example of the finished movie and video?
God, weddings are hard work.
How do you battle with photographers AF assist light? Do you ask them to not use it or...? I mean she shoots with 5dmk3, she dont really needs it...
How much footage do you shoot on average wedding?
i have a quick question. who would you mic up?
do you usually skip the family/bridal party photos?
Can I do the same thing at 8:42 with an Zoom H1?
Does anybody know what that light was at 5:10 ?
I have a question. What do you do if there is NO "pause and resume" button?

Easy peasy
What's the Zoom H6 happen?
i have seen ur gud works how can i have more of ur works just to admire them... am an upcoming & am intrested
Why don´t you use a glidecam or ronin?
You should use Steadicam to make it more natural. All the time with tripod ? I never seen such thing. Maybe im too old lol
Tamerlane (Timur) surprised too thought steadicams and those 3 axis electronic gimbal things where the way to go
Sir who is the best camera for vedio sony version
You can get great footage with most cameras, it really comes down to what you need and personal preference for how you shoot!
What's PP u use ?

Dedolight

Can you explain the audio set up a little more?
American weddings are (largely) so much more lavish than British weddings. I have noticed that American couples are so keen to 'work it' for the camera, compliant and patient with direction from videographers. They also want everything for £250 tops but think nothing of spending four times that on a photographer. Looking at wedding videographers outside the bespoke London companies, they are light years behind in terms of art.
Yet somehow the majority of those lavish Americans still don't get the video for their weddings.
are you a wedding videographer?
Not even part time and probably won't be for some years - the market over here is either London bespoke companies charging thousands or Uncle Ted charging ten pints of bitter and a sausage roll at the reception. Which monopod did you use?
amzn.to/2abcS0X
doesn't look like the monopod in the video
the one in the video looks like the manfrotto one
He mentions it in the first video, it's some other guy's pod that they switched accidentally.
dude you are cool
Dude your great bang bang 🔫
My documentary style brain is screaming that you're missing half the shots.
Somehow I have to learn to get into the short film mindset, where all you need is a few decent looking shots and good audio.
Focus on what you need! I used to get so many shots that I wouldn't use in the highlight film and had little value to my couple.
Wedding Film School Guess it's true what they say, you can't be a good shooter without being a good editor.
Hey man if you got any camera that you don't use can u please send me. I don't care if it used camera
