niagara bnb is hands down one of the best combos i ever learned with this character, haven't stopped using it since i started playing the character in this new patch
Thanks man! I can't offer pro advice in that department, so I highly recommend Mister Acolyte's team building video if you haven't seen it already. - For assists I recommend a ranged assist that covers his ki blasts in neutral, and an assist that covers his back during big bang. It's what I run on my team of BluA, KefA, GokuA. Anything that can set him up for his 236M 50/50 is also incredibly useful. Lvl 3 is his only true reversal, so DP/Anti-Air assists can help compensate for his lack of defensive tools. - He's really good at putting people in the corner so tagging into a mid with good corner oki is a great setup. I use Kefla's hellzone oki which is scary with a full team. - His damage is insane so having good DHC supers can make anything kill. Since his supers need to be at ground level having a DHC that brings the opponent down enables those (Kefla lvl 1). High damage supers like Goku lvl 3 will make your opponent explode. You can use Niagara as a pseudo reversal, but it's not safe. Level 1 DHC's that can make it safe or are mix will make this a viable option.
There's one really cool combo I saw Tokz do off a 2H in his recent set against obassassin. I've been bnbing it in my games, I was just wondering how optimal it is compared to some of the other enders like in this vid. It goes 2H>SD>jLL2HjcLL2S>j236S>j236LMM>M+H>j214L(whiff)>jLL2S>j236S>j214L. And he ends it with galick gun.
That's a pretty typical 2H BnB with a vanish extension and super added on the end. That vanish extension is the optimal one and is pretty useful.. Use it to switch sides to put your opponent in the corner, or to add on some extra damage. Although, the damage isn't worth it unless it will allow you to kill (or you have lots of meter). The galick gun should be treated the same, especially since it kills your oki. You can get more damage using a Niagara extension like at 5:40 in the video, granted you are facing the corner. You probably have enough time to jL rather than superdash like at 18:17. The main downside here being that any followup supers will be scaled heavily, so only do this if they aren't needed. Otherwise, the only other optimization would be to use ...jMLL2H in place of ...jLL2H. Also, I personally make it a habit to not use mediums in my rekkas when they aren't necessary. The extra time loss can be the difference maker in some combos when it comes to dropping and the damage difference is minimal. However, it's not a big deal. Did I answer your question? Hopefully I wasn't too pedantic.
@@SSBLabRat Absolutely! Thanks for the response, really good insight on that. The more I learn about Vegeta Blue, the harder it is not to think he's kinda busted lol.
Other than practice, all I can say is to get a feel for the rhythm of the inputs. I found the combo near impossible at first, but at one point the rhythm just clicked for me. Afterward I just focused on replicating that. If you can get the timing of jM>jSS down the rest is actually fairly forgiving.

yea i saw that teambuilding vid , what do u mean by gokuA main goku or any goku with a assist?@@SSBLabRat
I mean Base Goku's A assist. It's large hitbox reaches behind you.
Can we get the full list of combos in a spreadsheet? Tho i have to admit Vegeta Blue is a luttle bit too advanced for me

The niagara into bba into niagara into galick gun into niagara into galick gun WHAT
Sensational
The delay on 4:48 after 236S it's so weird, i'm not being able to connect 214M, don't know what i'm missing
It's a tricky one. You need to delay the 236S to max. Start-up should read 18 frames if you timed it right.
the 2s into big bang doesn't allow me to grab after the big bang what am i doing wrong?
nvm it was a timing thing im sorry
Any tips on the improved 5h rejump?

I don’t get it how do you do double big bang attack
Since his medium auto combo's big bang attack has slight different properties you can chain another big bang if you are quick enough
@@Your-Uncle-joe oh it’s a medium autocombo big bang into big bang thank you
I'm kinda new to this game, how asian do I have to be able to do this ?
Just depends how much time you want to put in. The beginner combos may take a while if you're new to fighting games, but it's a great starting point.
