WINTER LIGHT and Landscape Photography in -25 degrees, NORWAY

- In this video I take you on a landscape photography hike by the local lake in a very cold winter morning 💧❄️. I try different settings on my Nikon Z camera and shutter speeds using my KASE REVOLUTION Filters 💧. The location is Mjøsa which is the biggest lake in the Norway. I had only been at this location and woodlands in summer, but it turned out to be amazing in the winter. Make sure to watch the entire video as the magic happens in towards the end. Yeah, last week quite cold (not unusual compared to long term temperatures, but still so for climate change times). In lowlands it rarely goes below -10, but going up in the mountains you can have it almost as low as you want (around -25 too last weekend in one of the coldest villages in Switzerland).

Thank you very much 👍❄️🙂 Have to say that the winter conditions have been particulary good this winter. Its not every year anylonger. ❄️👍 There are intervalls with snow in UK too but not in the same way I guess 👍
@@stigfloberghagenphotography it was like that in Russia when I lived there too. We had one year where it hardly defrosted for the whole winter then the other few were frosty defrost the whole time. Needless to say, I went over a fair few times on the ice 😂 it's supposed to snow next week here, but I'll have to travel further north to chase the snow I think!

I admire your dedication, i am complaining as here in the uk its about -2 where i am but no snow. -25 with that snow and i guess wind chill must of been brutal conditions. Some beautiful images as a result so your hard work paid off . Well done mate !
Hi and thanks for the nice comment. I really appreciate it. It doesnt come across as brutal really. I think its about what you're used to, planning and clothing. That said most people had enough of the cold weather for this winter I think. 😅

@@stigfloberghagenphotography well... not that impressive with water and cliffs. And in germany we normally have two weeks of snow in a year... degraded very much over the last 20 years. Norway is really special in that.
