2017 Grand National Finalist Marcus H.S., TX, at the Bands of America Grand National Championships, November 8-11, 2017 at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN
@@scottyballard8575as a Marcus student and band member serving now and was apart of the 21’ bronze medals and Nats finals run I can tell ya man if we do not perform about to standard they kick our asses into high gear but it pays off
As an Indiana resident who is fortunate enough to attend DCI Championships and BOA Grand Nationals each year, this was my favorite show. This Finalist Feature defines the true power of music education. Great job to these talented students, their directors and community, and to Music for All. I will remember this particular show for years to come. Thank you BOA Grand Nationals.
Oscat Hinojosa Yes. I am an alumn and we do it once every 4 years for a few reasons. One being obviously the cost. Not only monetarily but school. We are gone from school for almost a week. The second being to maximize the experience. Because it's only every 4 years, each class gets to go once and it truly magnifies the appreciation for the experience.
I was part of the show that year and every time I watched this video I almost cried.
They should do finalist features for boa SA
Marcus' jump from BOA SA to GN's was unreal. They sounded amazing! Congrats! Really enjoyed the show!
Shane D that just shows how good texas bands are

Awesome!
So they only prepare for GN once every 4 years?

What are the green things that the guard members are spinning?
They represent the holes on the sides of a violin- f holes. But we always called them fidget spinners :) one of my favorite props to spin
