Actors! Have you ever worked on a monologue and said to yourself, "What should I do with my hands?!" This video is for you. It's all about connecting to your body and breath.
In this video I talk about what the CURRENT best practices are for movement in Shakespeare (that is, what directors and audition panels are looking for - "how it's done these days") and give you three movement exercises that you can also use for your contemporary monologues.

“Nor do not saw the air too much with your hand, thus, but use it gently; for in the very torrent, tempest, and, as I may say, the whirlwind of passion, you must acquire and beget a temperance that may give it smoothness.” -Hamlet
