I love to hear entitled comments for a free service A Macan is barely a Porsche It shares brake parts with the Audi q5, Vw small suvs and a few others, these are common parts you can find almost everywhere that sells car parts and if you have to wait 2-3 days for shipping that doesn’t make them rare.
Thank you for this video!!! It is soooo hard to find information on the Macan base model. Most all videos and info pages are for the 6 piston caliper which is very different. Do you have a recommendation on how to search for the parts for the base model? I have been sent the wrong brake pads and rotors twice.
Great video. Can I ask if the anti seize you use is an aluminium base one? The old copper grease used to be a gold colour. Is that okay to use here? Thx
Thanks for the video. Question: I replaced all brake pads on a Macan S 2017(without scanner) and now the pedal is low( no brake lines were opened ). In the rear, I just removed the electric motor and put it back after done. How can I bring the pedal back to original position?
Thanks for the detailed video. The front went well. My problem is now the rear ones on Model 2015 with electrical break. Any hint for open and close the electric motor and recalibrate the system without visiting the kind dealer ?
Super helpful video with simple and clear instructions! Thanks mate!
Very nice attention to detail. The extra little steps make for a quiet and quality brake job. thanks for the great content!
Thank you I appreciate you comment
That might be the cleanest garage I’ve ever seen…
Thank you for this. very helpful video. can you also please list out the part numbers and descriptions you used in this video?

Thank you for showing the step by step process. Do you know how to remove the dust boot for the pistons?

I think you might of damaged the caliper or it can be saved by using the scanner

Am I going to need a OBD2 tool to reset for anything?
For front no for Rear you need a scan tool to put the parking brake in service mode you can find that video on my UA-cam channel page
Did you loosen the fluid cap before depressing the calipers?
Did you say new caliper bolts?
No I didn’t loosen cap before depressing the calipers, it’s works fine with out it.
