When they were surveilling a suspect in earlier episode and he picked up that big vhs recorder to zoom in it brought back the ole VHS days as I had one too. They got much smaller but still VHS quality. Reminded me of Blockbuster rental stores, “be kind rewind” and their late fees!

C-16 audio is terrible !! Sounds like they're speaking thru 6 inches of foam. ....& my hearing is near perfect. Don't find this issue with other videos,...just C-16.
It's probably an issue with the original VHS they were ripped from. They could have been reused several times, or just aged poorly. A lot of older VHS tapes come off as muddled, particularly because of those two factors.

Hey Angie, your character didn't " talk too much ", most women do, they seem (?) to have an inborn fear of silences.
Everytime I read/hear something sexist I wish men had the biological make up to procreate.
Maybe you just make them nervous, thinking that way. It fills uncomfortable silences. Comfortable situations don't create that effect.
