How would you suggest completing the following curve in ArcPro? THENCE SOUTH 03°33'15" EAST 94.04 FEET TO A POINT ON A CURVE TO THE LEFT, THE RADIUS POINT BEING AN IRRIGATION PIVOT WHICH BEARS NORTH 86°26'45" EAST 1318.52 FEET: THENCE EASTERLY ALONG SAID CURVE 4017.93 FEET:
Karen, I am starting your tutorial but my create feature doesn't pop up with an editable feature like you have for the infrastructure layer. What should I do?
Thank you for your efforts in making this video but how can we provide names for the trees ? i have made a feature class similar to the trees and i added a name to it while creating the feature class but when i make the digitizing process while i am trying to put a name i am not able to see the word name, why ?
Hi, I am using this to create a polygon over some RTK points. When I finish drawing the polygon it disappear, any idea why? Already applied the changes button and two click at the end of polygon drawing
hey there, thanks for the useful tutorial - ive been pulling my hair out with GIS for weeks! I followed your tutorial and create different feature pollygons - I saved it plenty of times whilst I was going along but arcgis did eventually crash. I didnt mind too much because I knew id been saving so I thought id only loose a few polygons. On opening - there are no polygons but the feature classes ares till evident on my contents table but there are no polygons. Do you have any tips, have I lost them or are they just invisible somewhere? Thanks
have you checked that the layer you are drawing in is at the top of your table of contents? perhaps it's not getting deleted, it's just disappearing underneath something else
I dont understand why this isn't done in cad???? Why do GIS people know nothing about cad? Cad is 1000 times faster to use and more user friendly than this.
I use to hate to do GIS, because I never understanded ArcMap - but you and ArcGISPro gave me hope ^^
Bravo, Dr Joyce! All of this creating and editing of feature classes is SO much easier than it was years ago in a GIS-- progress!
Thank you! And yes, it's definitely a step forward!!! Finally :)
Right? I can't believe how much progress they've made.
Your tutorials are fantastic! I must thank you.
I liked your teaching style, I liked the candy box of features, thank you
These videos are so helpful. Thank you!
I am a gis specialist and I didn't know the autocomplete polygon.lol thanks Karen.
Learn something new every day hey! :)
wonderful videos...extremely helpful. You're a great teacher
Thank you! I'm glad you find them helpful!
Well done Karen. Just subscribed, thank you for sharing.
thanks, I'm glad that it's useful!
Thanks very much! great teacher!!

I don't know sorry, it's hard to troubleshoot without seeing the problem for myself
i am new subscriber! i won't miss next time.

Did you remember to save your feature class as well as the project? There's two locations to save and it can get confusing :(
I think I would have highlighted the "Save" button after finishing to edit the polygon.
What can I do if the polygons still overlapping in some areas?
How do you add this to a final layer map that you want to export as pdf or jpeg
I followed your steps but everytime i draw the second polygon the previous one gets deleted, please help

Weirdly enough I followed the instructions, but when I finish drawing the polygon I only see the cyan outline. Does anyone know how to fix this?
That just means that your record is selected. Click on the 'clear selection' button
@@DrKJoyce The problem was that my feature class was below the overlaymap, but thanks for the reply
I need to edit table features... how can I do this?
sure, just click on the attribute that you wish to edit in the attribute table
Thank you!
Thanks Karen so much
thank you :)
Thakns
Thanks

Very useless and you have to guess where the mouse cursor is. The introduction is waaaaay too long.
