I saw some videos on youtube with the same engine and they were able to remove the cylinder head without removing the pump.(just ask, curious ) And my question is. Unfortunatelly now i had issue with the cylinder head on my fiesta but i changed the timing belt as a kit ( pulley , tensioner , water pump ) and i have heard from many people like : DO NOT tight the timing belt again if once was removed. Is that true? i think i put in my engine 5000 kilometers since i changed the timing belt and it was about 5 months ago. Can i put it back or should i buy a new belt ( just the belt) ?
install the rocker cover back on did you come into trouble with the two at the back mine are going down far enough i think i may need to force the 4 things into the hold thats whats holding mine up
This was super helpful. I have only one question. How to put back the effing coolant drain plug from the back of the engine? I used all magic spells, hammer on the plug, bumper and engine, tried hitting the car and kicking it. If I won't find solution I might try burning it to the ground... Please help
@@romeokamil yes when you remove the plug usually the o ring gets more bigger and you can't return the plug that's why you change the o ring and reinstall with no problems

Lubricate rubber seal so you can install easy

Better change the o ring and use some oil on the plug to install it
@@mechanicigor I've lost this battle and let the mechanic put it back in place. Is it possible it grew bigger over time because of heat or something?

No you don't have to it doesn't matter in which position you are going to install there is no timing for the fuel pump

Usually problem is thermostat, also coolant leaking and low level of coolant and fan not working
I am in the same case, How have you clean the end of the block. My block was deteriored by the metalic head gasket. Thanks you
