I would avoid index funds, mutual funds, and specific stocks for the time being. Right now, the best option is a fixed income of five percent. Put money aside for the times when the market really starts to bounce back.

Inflation is not 'coming down', the rate of increase is slightly reduced, but everything is continuing to rise in price.
Don't be fooled by a decreasing rate of inflation. The effect is not only cumulative, but it compounds as well.

While the administration claim there's no inflation, elderly are suffering the most. My wife and I live on fixed income, yes we have saving but inflation is eating it up. We only eat two small meals a day yet out grocery have double in cost. Food cost more than our house and car payment combined. Along with home and car insurance which has doubled.
