Thanks for sharing a wonderful video. My son is an electrical and electronic engineer and working in the Thermal power sector for 4+ years as an Instrumentation Engineer. He looks forward to challenging assignments. Grateful if you advise me the specific skills (what and how) he should acquire to enhance his career.
Dear Sir, your son is surrounded by ample opportunities as working in any power plant itself is a blessings for any engineer. The exposure he must be getting is priceless. One thing am worried is being EEE engineer is he only handling Instrumentation Discipline?. What about Electrical concepts. Anyways ask him to gain practical knowledge in Electrical Engineer. Coming to your question, what skills he need to develop? In soft skills he should learn Corporate communication and personal branding and in technical side he should learn problem solving / troubleshooting / analytical skills. How he can do? He should hire a mentor as by his own he will only waste time figuiring out things and will get confused. I can surely help him to excel in his career. Let me know if you are interested. Tx and wishing your son a wonderful career ahead.
this was a very informative video! right now i am in my senior year debating between pursuin electrical or mechanical engineering, but because i would really like being part on developing the technologies of the future im leaning towards electrical now!
Dear friend, undoubtly Electrical branch is the most fascinating one only thing you need is keen interest in the concepts. Mechanical is good but pursuing Electrical engineering gives complete different level of satisfaction. Wish you all the best for your future brother. Thanks for watching and subscribing. Plz do share with others.
Thank you for the information. Sir, I am currently a second year Electrical Engineering student, and I am not sure which subfield to pick between computer engineering, robotics, curcuit design, and systems. What's your opinion about that?
My dear friend, you are in the second year and thinking about your niche is a good sign but in my opinion its too early to decide anything specific. First I would suggest to learn current opportunities and future prospect in these fields and then decide what to choose. All fields you have listed are very very specific and quite different that would require specific set of skills. You have enough time to do your research and decide you path. Electrical subjects now onwards in 3rd and 4th year will be highly interesting and it may happen that you change your choice later. So give some time to yourself and study the market. I know my answer is not in black and white but this is what best I would suggest. Thanks
Great video! With the increase in technology do you see hardware design engineers in huge demand in the next 5 to 10 years? I would like to persue hardware but I also have a huge intrest in power renewable energy.
Dear friend, the answer to your question is BIG YES. Designing Hardware requires creativity and sound knowledge of components. Many industries such as automotive, aerospace, telecommunication, and industrial equipments requires engineers who can design compact and robust components. So if you are really passionate about it then Just Go For It!!!!!!.... wish you all the very best and a successful career. Dont forget to like share and subscribe for interesting videos.
Sir please guide me currently i was working with the automobile industry in electrical maintenance department as an engineer but i quit and started learning ML and AI. What should i learn next and to enhance my skills? Please reply if get the time
Dear Manish, first of all thanks for watching my video. So I hope before quitting you have thoroughly researched the market for ML and AI. And also its very important to understand your expertise and interest. There are always soft skills and technical skills required in any industry. For ML and AI most important is being innovative and creative. Then ofcourse its coding and other technical skills. In soft skills you I can see you need to improve alot in communication. Also you can learn collaboration, adaptability, and leadership skills. To properly guide you, you can book a free call with me (link in about). Hope this was helpful to you.
Hi sir, in my polytechnic , eee course offers 6 specialisation which are communication, power, biomedical, microelectronics, rapid transit technology, robotics&control. Which one do you encourage me to take for the future demand and why? Looking forward to your reply😊
EEE students has to first decide which field more fascinates you Electrical or Electronics. This will give u some direction. Now if the answer is Electrical then of course Power would be my first choice as this seema lucrative in terms of advancement going on. If Electronics is your choice again u see robotics is excellent ( but very creatice niche so choose wisely). Communication superb field (eg 5G and no limit....very promising future). Microelectronics also cant ignore as its pentrating into every gadgets. But its only hardware and then u also need to learn software part to open bigger opportunities. Rapid transit technology is a new jargon and cant predict (ask some seniors about their experience). I dont know what you are good and cant suggest something abruptly. But my detailed explanation would surely be a guiding rail to conclude. Let me know what u decide. Also feel free to ask for any further query.
@@niravnmodha thank you so much for the detailed explanation, as you mentioned what kind of software part should I learn? Is there any specific programming languages I need to learn and master? Honestly, when I was learning c++ programming in my college first year, I couldn't grasp the skill well and didn't understand properly. And to answer your question, I am more interested in the electronics sector. I have been wanting to work at MIcron in the semiconductor industry. However, I have not heard anyone saying that microelectronics sector is booming.. that is why I am afraid and have no idea what to choose.
@@mangosushii_. Electronics market is seeing huge demand of chips after covid no one anticipated such steap rise. The main reason is automation in everything and for this u need controllers. With this huge demand Micron investing in Indian is not for time being surely they must be having a good projection for a decade. I am optimistic that this field will be setting lucrative market in near future. You can think of communication too if you like electronics. Communication is never gonna die and advancement will follow time to time. This would be a golden nugget for you. All the best. Remeber to develop soft skills alongwith tech skills.
