Thank you Mike and Gary for being great Americans. Gary did an awesome thing for my daughter Mandy. I had contacted Gary's foundation and asked them if Gary could send my daughter a quick note of encouragement who was deployed at the time. I didn't tell my daughter what I did. Then one day my daughter texted me saying she had gotten a hand written letter from Gary a/k/a Lieutenant Dan. She said it made her deployment worth while in getting that. Thank you Gary.

Just showing up and caring means a lot. For my generation we still remember that Bob Hope, Nancy Sinatra, and Ann Margret cared. Good Luck to Us All.

I've liked Gary Sinise in every movie I've seen him in. He always impresses. Then I found out what he does on his own time and realize he does his best work for free. Real heroes don't need capes.

Lt. Dan's band. Best show I saw! This guy embraced the fact that no one knows his name, but we all knew him as that fictional character that we could all relate to. Thank you Gary for being accepting of that fictional character, for volunteering with the USO, and for letting us appreciate you. You really did make us feel great.❤️

My first time in Florida was to be at Daytona in 2014. Who was waving the green flag? LT DAN. Mr Sinise and his foundation is incredible, helping troops around the world. Thank you Mr Sinise. My cousin is in army and i can say there is a UFC Fighter alot of folks have issue with but is a favorite of mine due to his visit with my cousin in Iraq. Tito Ortiz will always have a fan in me. why? he offered his time to brighten someone else's day. and my cousin said morale skyrocketed.
Thank you Mike. always wanted to go to the Mutter museum in phili from a few of your epic trips there. truly appreciate your work educating me in how our entire system works... not just me in my office chair but the septic folks and exterminators. DJ among SGTDI along with your own foundation in helping blue collar become ok... education is important, but also education of blue collar jobs being extraordinary is as important as medical or law or professors or septic cleaners. if the doc's toilet doesn't work there's nothing on plumbing in a medical journal.
My Mother is from Catonsville and our favorite thing was to go to MD and get crabs... she has passed on but MD / Balto will forever be in me. i will always warsh my clothes. why? cause that's what we do. Thanks again Mr Rowe.

I know actors hate being type cast for it can limit their horizons, but Gary Sinise played the part of Lieutenant Dan so well he Was Lieutenant Dan, he was nominated for an Oscar, he should have won. You can't blame those in these situations for believing so.
