If you understand life deeply, then you work not for self gratification but out of compassion. So see what the world needs. And the world needs a lot today.

To be motiveless is in a sense to be desireless. Because you are desireless, therefore you can never be called as "failed".

Things are ephemeral, But we take them as permanent. We try to seek not only permanence but actually timelessness where it is not. And that leads to the great amount of misery and violence we see all around us.

  • @daraiusdubash
    @daraiusdubash Рік тому +3

Detachment and compassion come together. If you say you have detachment, there must be compassion alongside.
We try to seek not only permanence, but actually timelessness where it is not. And that leads to a great amount of misery and violence we see all around us.
Iti s an unending project. So you will always have something to do. You will never be able to claim retirement. Which means that some part of you will remain youthful right till your physical end.
The great man works extremely vigorously. But that vigor is not for his own sake. That vigor is compassion.
If you understand life deeply, then you work not for self-gratification, but out of compassion. So see what the world needs. The world needs a lot today.
The world may be false to you. It is not false to everybody else. And when the world is not false, they suffer.
The project is to bring light to others. The same light that helps you become detachment. The power of work without motivation is immense.
When you are after something unending, what you get is immmortality.
This is immortality - to immerse yourself in that which does not end.

Sometimes people have this notion that in a world which is always in a flux and constantly changing everything is temporary so why should we work, Acharya ji wants us to realize that real detachment doesn't occu vaccum , with real detachment comes empathy, then you don't work for any motive, then you work for the sake of other people,to share with them the wisdom you have attained ,to make them lighter ,to make their lives easier.

🔅When you work for yourself, your energy is limited because the personal self is limited and false but when you dedicate yourself to working for the common good then you find yourself blessed with unlimited energy.
🔅The great man works extremely vigorously but that vigour is not for his own sake, that vigour is simply compassion towards everybody.
🔅If you understand life deeply then you work not for self gratification but out of compassion so see what the world needs and the world needs a lot today.
🔅Who is the one who suffers in the world? Who thinks of the world as something substantial, something true, they suffer.
🔅Now you have a project waiting for you, and the project is to bring light to others, the same light that helps you to be detached, why should that light not shine on everybody else?
🔅The power of work without motivation is immense. Generally all we know of is the energy that arises from motivation and we think of that energy as huge. No, that energy is petty, very-very limited and small.
🔅What is so rarely seen is immense action without any motive, motive-less action. Nothing beats that.
🔅Motivelessness is the state of highest energy. Because you are motiveless therefore you cannot be frustrated. Because you are motiveless, you cannot be defeated.
🔅To be motiveless is in a sense to be desireless. Because you are desireless, therefore you can never be called as failure. And because you are motiveless, your work will never be complete.
🔅Desire can be said to have reached its completion when the object of desire is attained but if there is no object to be desired then desire is unending. This is a very special kind of desire, desire for the immense. This desire lends meaning and purpose to life.
🔅The scriptures say when you are after something unending what you get is immortality.
🔅This is immortality, to immerse yourself in that which never ends. That can happen only with motiveless action. Motivation you must see as something very-very petty.

Detachment and compassion come together .
What is the one source of entire misery in this world
. We try to seek not only permanent actually timelessness’s actually it is not.
Ur detached becoz ur seeing that things are temporary.
If everybody does not see all this than where is ur compassion.
Just se are u detached just for ur own sake.
I have detached and I keep it for myself .
Like little kids who hide food for themselves.
Don’t u see that evry budy around u is simply attached to us .
    Did we really get idea.
If u did not work for urself work for others that is compassion.
    And it’s unending project
    Always have something to do.
The great man works extremely vigorously but that vigour is not for own sake .
