After trapping them just sleep near them as close as that they are in render when you sleep. Then when you wake up tranq them and you'll see that they have 0 food so insta tame. I tamed all my dinos like this in my sp.
I’ve been waiting and waiting, I got ready. I grinded for allo kibble, hunted for kibble and leveled up my dinos, and when it came, I needed to be lvl 85 T-T
I have never found a tame this bothersome At first I was trying to look for a griffin and finally found one but when I knocked it out it fell in the ocean and drowned and I’m like “oh...then let’s do the revival tame”so flew across the map to get to base only to find out that they can be revived at a obelisk so I flew there but only to realise that it take 150 Amber so I’m like “flip it” So I went knocked out another one all went well until I realised that I need to go back to get more kibble so I flew to my new base that wasn’t yet finished to get more kibble and as soon I got back a allo killed it 🤦🏻♀️ And after so much that has happened I finally tamed one but then I noticed there was another griffin that had a good level so I tried taming that one but then my tamed griffin died on me because it had horrible health and was low level But in the end I still ended taming one at least (tamed the griffin who killed my other griffin) 😑😶🤬
One problem, if u just use raw meat with no other things (eg soothing balm) their taming % only goes up 0.1 or less % at a time... Ad headshots don’t give any benifits to its torpor and just do 2hp more damage lmao
Once you maximized its unconsicious give the kibbles and sleep (that makes taming creatures faster) or knock them out in ice biome it can maybe make them hungry

Shame there is a faster method on taming it after upds 10 steps to tame any creatures quick items needed:narco/biotoxin any dart or tranq food of choice (recommend prime(carnivore)or kibble) Sleeping bag or bed .⬇️ If u see this step 1make trap step 2get griffin in trap step 3get sleeping bag (don't) knock it out step 4 sleep to lower hunger step 5 then knock it out step 6 get smoothing balm step 7(before or during)get prime meat or allo kible step 8 use only a few narco or biotoxin step 9 put food and wait step 10 there griffin
If they add wyvern you should have to be level 100 for them to respek you and when you breed them the female will become aggressive to you if you try to take egg so you have to let egg hatch under female wyvern or it kill you
Find a low level griffin. Say lvl 10-30 use 14-17 allo kibble with a 10x. Must tame 2 that have the same last 3 letters. Breed them and get their eggs. Make griffin kibble with that to tame high levels.

The reason i uninstalled ark is that i was taming a lvl100 and it took 2 days irl and it was 97/100 tamed and i was out of prime meat so igot some prime meat and when i was back i saw three alosaurus spawned and my griffin wasnt there
schwalbe heres a way to starve dinos while awake sleep next to it when its in render if its aggro put ot in a trap then sleep next to it if its a herbivore or a neutral then just sleep next to it

Just follow the explorer note path and run around the map should get you to level 55 plus on hard mode after collecting them all (since they give half the exp)

Just unlock what you need when you need it. Get a raptor asap and use it to tame a better raptor. Then the world is your oyster
