Congratulations to all involved. This video speaks to me on so many levels. Having kenny chaplin there, and having these two young men chase his record and surpass it. The story telling is so well done on this video. Couldnt have done it better myself. Thank you for this beautiful piece of tree planting history. Incredible , very few will understand the amount of effort this took. I am lucky when I have 2000 in after a day. Amazing
It gives me hope for the future seeing people doing this noble and, backbreaking work that will only be realised and appreciated by future generations.
A huge part of it for sure! Lucky enough I was in a planting camp just an hour away from where Kenny’s camp was last season so I was able to swiftly make a visit to him. Such a great person, big inspiration and essential to this whole project!
Totally amazing! Is there separate records for planters who have assistance with the record and ones who haven't? I have found records from the past of 12-14 k and always wondered if some of those records were set by planters packing their own bag, scoping their own lines and basically having no more assistance than they would on the average day at work. Hard to find info on tree planting records to be fair. It should be a sport in the Olympics
Awesome work with shovel. Never cracked 15 myself, but Ive seen half a crew do over that with a puki in 8 hrs. Though we wernt planting rough like that.
