Learn how to incorporate chromatic, passing tones into your guitar solos to add more colour, building on the scale phrasing essentials from part 1.
Chromaticism is about using tones that lie outside the scale as part of your phrasing. Knowing how to use these tones effectively will add more variation to your soloing options.

In order words, your creating hybrid scales by overlapping Aeolian and Dorian with both located on the same root note. Eg. D Dorian / D Aeolian, both would work over Dm7 as they share the same chord tones 👍

Those last chromatic scale phrases in dorian including the flat 6th sounded very much like how a saxophone would phrase something........i like that sound :-)
