- Heavenly Mountain Resort is home to what we classify as the most beautiful and picturesque ski trail in North America and possibly the world. On a clear day the views of Lake Tahoe are world class as you make you decent over 3,400ft from the top of Sky Chair to the California Base Lodge.

The views from these runs are wild, what is the trail that has the best views of the lake?

The trails from the top of Sky Chair have the best views of the lake. Would 100% recommend visiting Heavenly Mountain Resort
That upper Ridge Run is something I think I'd love to do. Incredible views and a very nice run. But no thanks to the catwalk down from the base of that run. Yikes. That could get rather precarious if it was crowded.
@markb3806 couldnt have said it any better ourselves, the top part is amazing, the bottom half is questionable.
I'm wondering how good you can board? Lol... U seen a bit frenzied going down this first run. Lol... We're all a bit squirrelly sometimes!! Lol!! Keep making the vids bro, I'll keep watching, feeding my fantastical nature. God I wish I was there! 🤓
Hey Brock, thanks for commenting, this was our first run post 20 hours of flying and 4 hours of driving + our first time in Tahoe. Took a little bit of warming up before taking on the more extreme terrain in Tahoe :)
Do you happen to know what are normally the best days in a week to ski there? Don't want to hit the crowds.
Hi Rich, we found Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to be the best days.
middle of the week and avoid school holidays...but the mountain is big and I almost never had a problem
this vid was a disappointment. i was waiting to watch you ride down the double blacks back to CA base; instead you took round-a-bout.
