Sad that we still need to have this discussion in 2024. It's no different than racial discrimination of the past - just now with a different group of marginalized people. If you think you're smart as a computer tech guy, then be smart enough to recognize that nature is full of diversity. Billions of people on this planet, it's painfully obvious that not everyone will fit into one of two categories. That's not just gender either. And like Richard said, even nature doesn't have only 2 biological sexes. Some people are intersex which they can't control, and some have sex chromosome abnormalities (XXY, XYY, XXX, XO). Happy to see you stand up against bigotry and ignorance, Rich. Keep doing what you do!

I don't watch your vids for social or political commentary. I watch them because I feel they are the single best source for MS Access data base design and programming techniques.
I generally try to avoid social, political, or religious commentary in my videos because typically they don't mix well with business. However, when I make a video showing something that is definitely a topic that would be helpful in a database and I get backlash from close-minded individuals who are spouting nothing but hate, then I sometimes feel the need to make a little social commentary. When I was younger, I had a strict no mixing business with politics or religion rule, but now that I'm older I don't care as much. If I have to lose some subscribers because of it, so be it.
I don't like having to fill out pronouns or sexual orientation on job applications and I've been seeing that alot recently, but if that's the data companies want to collect then so be it.... I guess I will just get used to it similar to race/ethnicity and past military service.
