Celebrate at how cool this moment is, and how Taylor and Dave and Slash and Jack and the rest, got to party..it can go in an instant folks, live it like a rockstar, Taylor sure did!
wow is this a dream provided by Morpheus? Foo Fighters + T D + f@#$g Slash playing a moth#&$@ng QUEEN song!? this is what Rock's about! a bunch of good friends rocking for the masses ROCK IS NOT DEAD
StairwayToEvan92 not everyone is like you, just because you found this song 3 weeks ago doesn't mean you're some sort of super cultured idiot. Well... It does mean you're a fucking idiot actually.
Dropping balloons at a concert is STILL one of the most awesome things. When people say “oh - guitar oriented music (they mean to call it ROCK) is dead…” I say - “nope - there’s STILL Dave Grohl!” He’ll keep it going!
"DAVE'S SUPER FUCKING RAD ROCK & ROLL CLUB." And birthday party. 😁 Great concert. The fact that there was a revolving stage was awesome. Everyone got a frontal view of the band. There were numerous other guests, like Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction, David Lee Roth, Alice Cooper, Zakk Wylde, and Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews (who I remember played and sustained the longest note I've heard played on a trombone 😁 ). And to top it all off, ending with the late, great Lemmy. As I recall, the show ended after midnight.
THIS ROCKS!! I saw Queen back in the late 70s when I was a kid and pretty much hated it with TWO EXCEPTIONS. Tie Your Mother Down rocked, and they TOTALLY RE-WORKED WE WILL ROCK YOU. They opened with it & turned it into a freaking supercharged metal romp instead of the already worn out stomping clapping deal LOL!
Yes. Yes he can. All of the original guns records (I mean the 4 real guns records while Izzy was there, not Axl Pose's hacks disguised as GnR) had slide guitar parts on it. They probably called him that night and asked him if he wanted to come down. It was in LA after all. I can't imagine alot of people carry a slide on them as a rule.
When I watch the FOOs, supposedly representing what is left of the rock and roll world, I realize how pathetic the musical landscape has become...All the great original bands are dying off, or morphing into tribute bands with few or no original members. What we are left with are Grohl and his FOOs, essentially a mediocre garage band, that are touted as the world's greatest rock band, worthy of headlining the world's largest arenas and stadiums...I am sorry...but I am not buying it...They would be fine at a backyard keg party, but that is about it...Grohl is a nice guy but his need for attention borders on pathological...
+Rockin' Vida Are you trolling, or are you serious. The Foo Fighters are a damn good band any way you slice it. Yea, some of collaborations do get a little old. But their originals hold up against anyone out there. They have some truly great songs on every album they have put out. I am not even mentioning the amount of talent in that band. I mean Taylor truly is one of the better drummers going today. There isn't really anything that he cant play. If they aren't your cup of tea that's fine, but to call them a garage band is just a little ridiculous to me. Just my humble opinion. Take care and peace!
No, you have it all wrong...I don't hate this band...they have many good songs and Taylor is a slammin' drummer...I am just sayin' that compared to the classic rock days of bands like Zeppelin, the Who, etc,, that for a band like the Foos to be the number one band in the world, shows you how far the whole thing has fallen...I think they are a good band, but far from a great band. Anyway, thanks for your comment and I hope you have a rocking 2016!
Funny thing about this is that Slash actually played this song with Queen at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert in 1992.
Yeah it was fucking AWESOME !
One of the best moments in music history. I was waiting for that leaning back Slash did back then.
Whats funny about it?
Foo fighters played it with Queen aswell
I love Jack black in his jack black entrance and slash with "give me that guitar"
Freddie Mercury(smiles in heaven): That's wonderful darling!!!!
I always forget how good Taylors voice is. He can really sing!
Celebrate at how cool this moment is, and how Taylor and Dave and Slash and Jack and the rest, got to party..it can go in an instant folks, live it like a rockstar, Taylor sure did!

PETITION THE NFL FOR A HALF TIME SHOW WITH THE FOO FIGHTERS!!!
I got to about 25 concerts and festivals each year, nobody pulls off a long 3 1/2 hour show like the foo fighters much respect for the foos:)
That's because Dave Grohl learned his work ethic as a musician from being a Rush fan. They were the original kings of the 3 plus hour show!🤘😎
I cant stop smiling while watching this video ♥
Slash is the last few remaining from his era, its awesome
wow is this a dream provided by Morpheus? Foo Fighters + T D + f@#$g Slash playing a moth#&$@ng QUEEN song!? this is what Rock's about! a bunch of good friends rocking for the masses ROCK IS NOT DEAD
How much you wanna bet that like 3 people in the audience knew this was a cover of a Queen song
Why is that song so unknown
That would be a shame, but hopefully now they know
StairwayToEvan92 not everyone is like you, just because you found this song 3 weeks ago doesn't mean you're some sort of super cultured idiot. Well... It does mean you're a fucking idiot actually.
^^^ Found the guy who didn't know this was a Queen song.
Marshallnd why you gotta make fun of yourself
Taylor will be missed ♥️
And Freddie
Btw Slash & Dave became friends because their kids went to the same school :D
That Nirvana GnR feud is sooo long gone, guys.

Slash's top hat must have been at the dry cleaner's that night or something.
Slash does a great Brian May impersonation on guitar here. Spot on.
Dropping balloons at a concert is STILL one of the most awesome things. When people say “oh - guitar oriented music (they mean to call it ROCK) is dead…” I say - “nope - there’s STILL Dave Grohl!” He’ll keep it going!
Right on!
OH QUEEN YOUR LEGACY...

Slash has some great chimistry with these guys. He ought to join the band.

Jack Black’s entrance was PHENOMENAL
0:08 Dave just spits on the stage
Genial!!!
5:15 was the best part why did you move the camera away from slash
Probably cos there were almost 10,000 people in front of me. it was a 4 hr show and I was probably quite sloshed by this point :)
True that!
Is Taylor Hawkins the one singing?
Yep! He's awesome! I miss you Taylor! 💔 RIP beautiful Soul 💫💖💫
@@suwheatley2375 It was Queen, so yeah...Taylor. Glorious!

Four members of Queen, and all these on stage, erm Queen win by a country mile
Tim Guttesen dude they’re just having fun. Let em rock out
Tim Guttesen this would be a relevant comment if, in fact, this were a competition. It’s not...it’s friends having fun.
Shame Brian was available attend.
Goodness to be seen here though regardless.
Did JB and Kyle actually do anything ,or just prance around the stage
At first I thought that was jack black 😂
You thought Jack Black was Jack Black? Well done.

Dude chill what u ever do in rock music
Who is the heavy set bald guy?
michael glucksman seriously? Google Tenacious D
Slash looks a bit like a sasquatch
How much would it suck to pay a ton of money for floor seats and then be behind the stage?
I was there that night. it was a revolving stage.
I don't understand why Foo Fighters are performing a song Of QUEEN?
It was a birthday celebration for Dave.. not a normal FF show.
@@brianjames8838Wow, I didn't know Dave was performing with Queen!
Ten of them still cant get this rite.
And you can't spell!
Slash can´t play the slide?
Yes. Yes he can. All of the original guns records (I mean the 4 real guns records while Izzy was there, not Axl Pose's hacks disguised as GnR) had slide guitar parts on it. @@chadgraber3639 AXL rose not AXL poes
So Slash can't play a Brian May solo...
fool
Well. Noone can.
Well to be fair, Brian cant play a Slash solo too
And during 92' live ?
@@JayQuek He can, and has. Slash is a fairly decent blues rock guitarist. Brian is just light years ahead of that.
j.black,get offfff UUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Two ex Nirvana members playing with a Guns n Roses member??? Who'd have thought??
That crowd sucks.
Its LA. What do you expect.
They went full Freddie and bolloxed the lyrics right away.
Jack Black

+Darrin Connor You can never have enough Slash! Are you serious?

Darren Connor- Fuck you!! Far better that you go away!
