The Equilibrium Issd League made its appearance in the online segment in 2021 under the name Liga Cearense Issd_administered by Wagner Bogard, Jancer and Felipe Alves. However, in the offline world, the League had already existed since 2012 with FB96 tournaments and championships, a League founded by Wagner Bogard, with Bogard's migration to the online segment, there was a growth in tournaments that made the Cearense League migrate to Online, and in 2022 there was the 1st tournament of the Cearense League, called the CEARENSE TABLE, a tournament won by Daniel Fernandes 🏆 the runner-up was Wagner Bogard 🥈 and 3rd place with Webber Sep 🥉.
The League began to attract attention and more participants from all over the world began to join, Bogard, Jancer and Felipe, realising the notorious growth of the League, decided that it no longer made sense to keep a regional name and so in a consensus they decided to change the name of the Cearense League, The idea for the name came from the method of choosing teams for tournaments, which was by reverse ranking, where the strongest player would play the weakest team and vice versa, in order to maintain the balance of the levels, and it was precisely through this concept that the Equilibrium Issd League was founded in 2022. And to celebrate with a flourish, the Equilibrium League decided to hold a commemorative tournament in honour of a super player from the past of the online scene, the great Thiago Ávila, better known as (Thiago U2) a player who is still acclaimed today and is called by many as the Pelé of ISSD, the tournament was named after him. From there, creativity kicked in and Liga New's newspaper was born, which talks about everything ISSD, news, shenanigans, match reports and the like (the newspaper can be found on Liga Equilibrium's Facebook page).
Bogard and Jancer, the two most active members of the Equilibrium League, were very happy with the way the League was going, with its growth and the recognition of many for its organisation and differential in some aspects, but there was still something missing in the League, something that would complete us, and that's when, in several phone calls and WhatsApp conversations, Bogard and Jancer decided to create their own ROM, with the support of Vinny (currently the best in ISSD) we got the idea off the ground and got to work setting up the teams, doing a lot of hard and exhausting research.
Liga has always run its tournaments with ROMs provided by friends and we needed something we could call our ROM to have a legacy written once and for all, a ROM that was primarily with clubs instead of squads, as our roots are from FB96, with very levelled skills so that participants had a wide range of options to choose from when selecting their team for a specific Equilibrium League Tournament, and the icing on the cake would be the choice of teams only from South America, the heart of the Libertadores of America, no European teams, everything would be from our continent and so it was, this ROM. was created based on ISSD SA, a ROM that revolutionised ISSD, we modified the skills and balanced the teams and tried to obey the order of the shirts that the players wore in real life, an example of which is Flamengo's Arrascaeta (starter) wearing shirt 14.
Having chosen teams, stadiums and endings, we handed the project over to our friend Marcos Fernandes to make the ROM, from creating all the shields to aspects of the stadiums, A and B uniforms for all the teams, adding the new Skills and special hair for the players, and it was simply brilliant work by our friend Marcão!!!
The idea of forming the teams was to unanimously choose the teams via the Comembol Ranking and the tiebreaker criteria would be their performances and retrospective in Libertadores (in other words, who went furthest in the competition). The Rom has 42 teams, 38 of which are South American and 4 from Concacaf.
