Ron Rowe refused multiple times to answer the question on whether or not the golf course was swept and cleared prior to Trump's arrival. He just kept saying that it wasn't on the President's schedule, evading the question. Someone could have, and maybe did, stake the place out waiting for Trump to eventually show up to golf.
My question is, how did he know for a fact that president Trump was going to play that day , or did he just take the chance that he would ?

The US isn't going to assign an army to protect private citizen Trump. He's going to have to take some personal responsibility for his own safety. Standing on a golf course is akin to standing in an open field, and if he's going to put himself in harm's way like that, especially on his own property, he should kick in with his own security force as well. Because of that, Trump Org failed him, not the Secret Service. For a private citizen the most he's entitled to is protection in his immediate vicinity.

Federal employees are very hard to fire. I’m sure that goes for the Secret Service as well. Perhaps we need to make a major change in the way we treat our civil service. It used to be they didn’t make much money, but they had job security now they make more money than private sector. Get better benefits and still have job security. The only way they can lose their job is if they make a variation from rules. So they’re not assessed on how well they take the initiative in innovate. Only on how they cover their butt and follow predictable rules.
