Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

The design for the Spider-Man action figure is based off of the costume they were going to use until they use the one that we got.
The logo isn't even near accurate on the front

The reason why it's like that is because during shooting, the suit Tom Holland wore had this logo.
It was because of some legal thingy between Sony and Marvel or something like that
Behind the scenes images and videos of Spidey in Civil War reveal an actual physical suit that for some reason didn't make the movie and was replaced by the CGI. If you look at that suit and this Spidey closely, you would realize thats what the figure is actually based on. Some of the sculpted details in the figure were left unpainted or painted differently retroactively to match the final suit in the movie, but its clear it was based on that physical suit initially
Details the first suit had that the final one didn't: prominent raised webbing, the different logos, different line designs throughout the arms which are present in the figure's sculpt but have been left unpainted
Just picked up this set for $17 on clearance. Cap's left thigh swivel is... glued.
I like the 2002 suit, but maybe it's due to nostalgia.
It just looks better IMO.
I like the new one better, but the 2002 one is awesome too. It's basically just classic Spidey, just modernized a bit.

Just got a line on the Spider-Man thanks for the review from 7 years ago.
Spiderman is inaccurate in a few ways. The webbing, and symbol mostly. Also this design shouldn't have sculpted webs
Actually I think the sculpted webbing is fine cause on the actual Civil War movie suit the webs are flat while the red parts are raised over them.
I repainted spiderman and slightly re sculpted the head and it's now one of my favorite spiderman figures.iron man came out good and the downy head is great on chameleons body.with capt, I just kept the head,shield and belt(since it had paint apps the other civil war capts belt didn't)the body will be used for a custom figure at some point because it looks like all they did was use cheaper paint on the suit.took a shit on the figure and decided to call it battle damage.ill probably sand some of the sculpted areas down,add some milliput epoxy and make a movie deadpool out of it

this figuer, and a bunch of the merchandise for Spidey from Civil war are actually base on the Concept art which has that Spider logo, which can also be seen in the Lego Civil war Spider-man mini-fig
Which sucks because this figure (and everything based off of the concept art) look NOTHING like Civil War Spidey.

the chest logo is way off . Its actually a (MAN) torso and it has legs on the sides to make it look like a spider (MAN). You didn't mention it Shart , did you notice at time of review?
Steve Rogers head sculpt kinda looks like Channing Tatum tho! and oh yeah noticed that spidey is missing some black paint around his left eye...

Well actually it is, the figure is based off the spiderman suit that they actually made until marvel decided not to do that last minute and covered spiderman with cgi. So yeah

I don't know if it's just the head or the entire body but the Spiderman figure reminds me of Web of Shadows Spiderman
Nice set but I really wish the paint apps were better. And I don't like the carved-in lines on Spidey. If any Spidey figure should've had thin, painted on lines, it's this figure because it's closer to how it appars in Civil War
The spider man figure looks like the stunt suit during production of the movie
this great pack of figures, but I hope that in the future take out the figure of Spiderman individually for not having to buy the 3 I already have the Iron Man and Captain America .
The figure is based more on the pre-production suit then the final suit.

Actualy i found out that this figure has the unused suit from Civil War, that´s the reason the design is different and also the weblines are sculpted in
Spidey should of come with an interchangeable head where his eyes are bigger so you can have an eye shrinking effect.

I like the figure, but it's not very movie accurate.
It's not accurate in any way at all. The whole figure is completely wrong in every aspect from cobwebbing, to color, to symbol. This set is a joke.
The only thing movie accurate is the colors.

Design is based on a different suit design which I assume was what they were going to use for the film until they opted to just motion cap and CGI him.

spiderman had more of a open role in civil war and in homecoming so i guess the fivure ia actually acuit in both movies just say though.

Shartimus, the battle damaged mark 6 was exclusive to Walmart, not Walgreen's. I get the confusion, Walgreen's has had exclusive marvel legend figures like agent venom and namor
