WAIIIT IVE SEEN YOUR STUFF before I just now realized that you’re the same guys who’s been doing the Dread soundtrack series! Dude your work is God-tier! You have more talent in yourself than some entire countries have combined! Keep building a portfolio - I see you being the Tee Lopes of Metroid. Prove me right!
Very nice. Starts off quiet, almost too quiet then BAM the introduction to the world. I can imagine a space wayfarer nervously preparing to exit their ship and then the wonder of an alien world, bright alien colors, alien sounds and sensations, and then the transition to a smoother almost jazzy rendition that reflects growing familiarity and comfort within this alien world. You do transitions very well friend, and your mixes, this is not the first I’ve heard of your work, take me on an enjoyable journey. Love your work.
@@arcaderedux it's the weirdly calming part, that snes games like super metroid and super Castlevania 4 excelled at. Both are known for bumpin music, but super has more subdued, even jazzy slow tunes. Especially Castlevania 4 in that regard.
@Arcade Redux 4 is one of the more forgiving linear Castlevania games, so I'd say it's a good starting point. If you're looking for a Metroidvania Castlevania, you can't go wrong with Symphony of the Night.
@@arcaderedux What he said. I gravitated towards the linear ones myself, but you can't go wrong with symphony. Or if you want a meme-y experience, go with rondo of blood.
This has always been one of my favourite tunes from the Metroid series and you've done a really good job with it here, you just don't disappoint. I especially like how you ended it, as if you left lower Brainstar behind, along with the amazing beauty and entered a elevator room bringing you back to the mystery of this Ailean facility.
Let me just say this. If this UA-cam channel had 'stocks' I would buy them. You are very talented! I don't know if you do this but, NEVER let your subscriber count discourage you from putting in 100% in your channel. Keep up the good work!
Really cool remix. I'd love to hear your take on an NES soundtrack like Metroid NES or a Megaman game. The extra instrumentation you add to the remixes is always my favorite part so seeing you take a bare bones NES song and making it sound as beautiful as this would be cool I think.
@arcaderedux is !ove to hear you remix A song like either ff6 kefkas tower or the ff6 saving game theme. You took a Metroid sound and made it sound majoras mask. You've earned my respect twice over now. God bless
absolutely amazing! def the best remix on youtube by a landslide! my only criticism is the clapping sound effect once the beat kicks in feels really out of place in a mysterious sounding sci-fi track. i feel like something like a very 80s sounding snare would've better filled that spot in the beat instead of the claps. other than than though i still think this is absolutely fantastic, and I immediately subscribed!
Indeed I was putting it in my sleep playlist then had to remove it and put it in the regular music playlist... Wish there were two versions I don't even dislike the second part even tho it's not my usual thing
Do you plan on putting any of these up on Bandcamp or anything like that for purchase? Because I will purchase these and your Dread remixes in a heartbeat.
These tracks are remixes in so many ways
You know metroid music is that good !

Wow its so beautiful. I'd love a remix of upper norfair
Will be getting to both upper and lower in the near future!

Really appreciate that, thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
This sounds so eerie... Foreign. Yet weirdly calming. I love this. I'm subscribing.
Perfectly describes Super Metroid as a whole. Thanks for watching!

@@STINKERMCGEE As much as I love Metroidvanias I've actually never played a Castevania but obviously need to. Is 4 a good one to start with?

Really good job, hard to put into words but the song just feels right!

Great suggestion - that's essentially the goal of the channel! Do you have any recommendations for a good Megaman track?
@@arcaderedux Not the op but I'd recommend Gravity Man's Stage from Mega Man 5 or Spark Man's Stage from Mega Man 3 as a good track to work on.

Sounds like the one in Echoes.
The one in echoes is my favorite version of this metroid song
A key inspiration for sure!

Echoes might be the best Metroid game. Just has a uniqueness to it like no other game!
@@brijor6ff7 hmmm I disagree. The impact MP3, MP1 and Super has is on another level.

Great but the mood is changing noticebly so it would not work well as actual background music for the game. Otherwise, it is really good.

Not digging the claps.
Very very good
