Oh ok so we got the haters here in the comments. If you wanted another armored core that's fine, but get a life instead of just dunking on random games for being different from what you were hoping for.
It's the "cool" thing to do now hate on something without giving it a chance I just looked into this game and it's everything I've ever wanted the robots remind me a lot of megas xlr so when I get this game I will be playing it while jamming to the soundtrack the only problem I have is that I have to wait an extra week till I get paid otherwise I'd be playing right now

It's just what appears when you complete the missions. You can get weapons and parts to build your robot. The weapons and parts have a rarity and rank system.

Alright I guess this is a light novel mixed with mech customization and missions. No, it appears to not play anything like AC.
If you want Xenoblade with mech customization, go emulate Xenoblade Chronicles X.
If you want a Switch game that plays like Armored Core, go play Daemon X Machina.

Armored core isnt that good anyways, i bought it on release and only have 4 hrs on it. I prefer robot games like this and Gundam Breaker 3

@@holdencross6126this game has nothing to do with AC. It is focused on Melee combat and has more Story section than AC. AC is cool, but is another thing entirely. There's no need to compare the two. Megaton Musashi isn't a "bad AC". They are just different types of games. You should go learn more about Mecha Games before talking shit on the internet.
Dang. The base game I'm seeing here looks like it has serious potential. It's too bad they're forcing it to be a gacha mobile-type game to milk people for money, based on the mobile-looking GUI and the gacha weapons you can spot in the trailer.
Like, I'm looking at games for Switch right now, and aside from all that stuff it probably would have genuinely ranked higher in my desire to play it than either of the Hyrule Warriors games.
There's no gacha in the game. You can play everything without spending any money too.

@@TeryJones Cause it's not Armored Core???? There's been several mecha games besides Armored Core, and besides maybe Daemon X Machina, NOTHING plays like Armored Core.
All of Level 5's mecha games (Gundam AGE Cosmic Drive/Universe Accel, Danball Senki/LBX and now Megaton Musashi all play like that trailer
