  • In this episode we finish building an awesome Mil-Spec harness for the Z! We got everything sealed end to end, some awesome DR-25 heat shrink protecting everything, and its back in the Z and all the connectors reach! It took a lot longer than I anticipated but I am glad it was done correctly!

I know this is old. But I love it. Found your channel researching harness twist. I gave up! Hahaa. Just did a basic patch harness. Really wanted to do this type of twist, but wow it was way to much work. But love your work

Any videos on how to actually twist all those wires together?

Where did you get all of that wire from?

I got this as a kit from Felix Hamilton at Hamiltuned. It was the wiring harness for the megasquirt goldbox kit and it came with new wires and connectors.

I watched the Rob Dahm video when it first came out and it totally intimidated me. But how how you broke it down makes me feel like I can do this. Thank you for sharing

You can hide most of your wires by dropping underneath the crossover pipe and on top of the bell housing. You'll need some type of fire/thermal sleeving like JEGS sells. Then you just run up underneath the crossover to each side for the injectors, spark, and other various sensors in that area. It's how I've done mine and I love it. Haven't had any issues with melting, just gotta have good heat protection for the wires.

That's a pretty good idea! If I ever make another harness I'll definitely look into doing that
