For lower to middle income families, the increase of 25% in food prices, increase in rent of 20% over the past 4 years is substantial. An increase from 3 to 8 percent in mortgage rates made it difficult for some first time home buyers to pursue a home and have to rent instead. 2) The record high illegal immigration from across the Mexico border. 3) The fiasco of exit from Afghanistan, surrendering control to the Taliban. 4) Biden's old age (80s) 5) Some swing voters see cancelling student debt as a ploy to buy votes and burden the hard-working taxpayer with another government handout to the elite. None of these will change from now until election day. The only hope I have is Biden steps aside and any other moderate Democrat runs against Trump.
