This interaction gives the impression that the menu is "taking over" the available horizontal space of the page. Just make sure to wrap ALL page content inside a "Page wrapper".

Hi, I recreted this interaction but once I click on my cat button to open the menu and close it, it wont repeat the interaction unless i refresh the page. Any idea on why?
