I never had a doctor for any of my babies. I can’t believe you had to hold her in! That’s impossible! Nurses do all the deliveries here. They are truly angels! 🥰
I had my baby before the doctor got to the hospital, the nurses know just what to do. They are the real champs ❤️

My daughter was the same the nurse told me to try to keep my body from pushing and she wasn’t having it she came without me pushing and no doctor around
your body knows what to do lol
my second was delivered by the nurse! my doctor thought I would be in labor for at least 2 more hours! easiest birth that I had! and no stiches!

Don't you just love when you're trying to hold a human in and the doctor waltzes in and is like "alright, who's having a baby in here?"
I have totally been there!! I was having natural childbirth, not by choice, and my doctor walked in like she was browsing through a jewelry store or something. I screamed at her to hurry up! There was no sense of urgency whatsoever, which still boggles my mind 13 years later.

You will make me cry. When I am having my second baby I had labor like 3 days but not any water or something. After three days I went hospital and 2 cm. it was so hard I was rolling on the floor when my labor came. You look so calm down well done. I have 2 boys they are close ages. Beautiful mum and baby 💕 Loves from Scotland 🏴

Congratulations! She is beautiful! Makes me really want to have another baby. Children are the best blessings. I've had 3 emergency c sections. The epidural is amazing but every single time within a couple of hours I got sick and the cold sweats as well. Being uncomfortable for 9 months is worth it all in the end when you get to hold your baby. And that first shower after is amazing. And congratulations again. Your baby girl is just so beautiful and precious.
I’m 7 weeks pregnant watching this and crying my eyes out whilst also throwing up every hour or so 🤢 but watching this, it’ll all be worth it in the end. Congratulations, she is beautiful ❤️

I'm 7 weeks also! Im 30 and this my first. My nurse has me taking Unisom tablet at night and a B6 in the morning. So far that has done wonders for morning sickness. I hope this helps!
Oh girl I’m so sry I puked everyday for 20 weeks was so horrible what helped me was do pour salt on some lemons then suck on it helps so much with my nausea

These birth vlogs are fascinating. Birth is so different in the US. In the UK we labour at home, even when induced most the time, and then when 4cm plus we are allowed to go to hospital and deliver. But there is no need to hold in the pushing or wait for a Dr unless a life is at risk.
An epidural is possible but very hard to get. Your birth was so serene and calm in comparison which i think is lovely as you get to enjoy it more. My poor husband is probably traumatised by watching three long births. The pushing is intense I agree! And the ring of fire is ouch.
You guys are absolutely amazing parents. I’ve just had my third baby and have been binge watching your videos of DITL with 3kids and it’s been helping me so much get through the long days.

@@MrKaypet thank you so much! i'm type 1 diabetic and make 10lb+ babies so it would've been traumatic to push. that as well as a very long lasting and painful delivery. i'm just blessed to be able to carry and grow another human 💙

@@sabrihashaheed5782 it was for him. I was born with a broken collar bone and the umbilical cord wrapped around my neck multiple times so my head was very blue. So he ended up passing out once they said there was some “issues”. I think he was just so anxious because I was his rainbow baby.

This is one thing that makes me so mad about deliveries. Women cannot just stop pushing, push it out honey someone will catch your baby.
After hearing about car births, yeah I'm not waiting.
nurses aren’t trained to deliver babies, that’s why they try to wait for the doctor to come.
@@beccadavis1959 In most countries around the world midwives attend all births in hospitals and deliver 90% of babies. A midwife would be with you from the start of your labour, to your birth and postpartum. They are the experts in all things pregnancy and birth. The US is missing out on a lot by not having midwives. Evi's birth was lovely and so happy mom and baby are safe and healthy, but a mom would never have to hold in her baby and wait for a doctor (who should not be delivering low risk, normal births - birth is not an illness that we need a doctor for!) if a trained registered midwife was present. Highly developed countries like Denmark, The Netherlands, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, etc. all use midwives to attend all births at hospitals and at home.

My fourth was a girl, but we lost her at 13 weeks. She had no heartbeat at my check up. This was beautiful and comforting to watch if that makes any sense.
