    They don't tell you, you can't use most of these for more than 30 to 60 minutes and then you have to wait a few hours before using again.

    I don't know if you even tried these items, or whether you are reviewing based on other people's reviews elsewhere, but your #1 Pick is a "Cuisinart" model, but your intial picturing is of a WARING model. (I'm aware of the branding sisterhood, but they are NOT THE SAME in build and durability, and I don't even think they MAKE the Waring-built powerhorse any longer, much to the dismay of the buyers on Amazon). You then switch to a picture of the Cuisinart. You can actually see that not only is the name on it different, but the are OPEN VENTS right on the rim of the burner on the Waring and but it's completely closed on the Cuisinart, two totally different products.

      The "WARING model" picture is a random picture from the video.

      Will it hold cooking oil at a high enough temperature to deep fry with ?
      Every one I try shuts off and then back on after it cools down and then you end up with greasy food .

    Any of these plates or all of these are rechargeable? After fully charged, it works without being unplugged? It’s my first time buying one from amazon and I’m curious how it works

      They are not rechargeable. They don't have battery to charge or recharge. These are electric. You plug in and after you are done, plug out. That's it

    You didn’t mention if they put off a plastic odor many modern hot plates do . That’s why I clicked on this video.

    • @Lavonne9870
      @Lavonne9870 3 роки тому

      Almost every appliance I've ever bought puts off a burning plastic odor the *first time* it's turned on. Heaters, toasters, coffee pots etc. You should expect it the first time, and turn it on in a well ventilated area like the garage, on the porch, whatever. I've read it in a few owner's manuals as well: "expect a smell the first time this appliance is used". After that, there should not be a smell.

    • @danwilkinson2797
      @danwilkinson2797 3 роки тому +2

      @@Lavonne9870 yeah I get the same odder every time I use it and the hotter it gets the more fumes it produces I would think it was temporary at first tho it was the cheapest one I could find . My self heated water pitcher is the same still putting off fumes so I use them outside and have considered reengineering them so that there is a barrier between the plastic and the heating components. Or putting a vent in my small room. I feel this is associated with cheeper products made in the resent past with poorly engendered design .

    I would advise everyone to get NONE of these products. I have purchased numerous Cuisinart products over the years--convection oven, blender, pannini press, and food processor--they all broke, and, honestly, I HOPE their customer service is the worst in the world. I'll NEVER buy anything of theirs again.
    It so happens I live on a boat, and I was stupid enough to buy the #2 pick here, the Aroma. This thing can BARELY boil water, and I'm talking about just little strings of bubbles coming up from the bottom. FORGET about bringing anything to a full boil.
    But the thing that prompted me to write this is that tonight for the first time I tried to fix scrambled eggs with this POS. Honest to god, if I had set the pan out on the dock in the morning sun it would have cooked those eggs faster. Took 15 minutes, with the thing all the way up.
    One of the worst products I've ever thrown out.

      This is just another video where they put together crap to make some sales off Amazon commissions without doing much of any real scientific testing to come to a good conclusion. There are SO many people that do exactly the same here on YT. Watch ProjectFarm and you can see what someone that actually tests stuff out using scientific testing methods, then you will fully understand why I criticize this video.

    • @TheRealDrJoey
      @TheRealDrJoey 2 роки тому +1

      @@ihatesignupsgrrrrrrr Oh, I do watch Project Farm occasionally, though his voice kinda grates on me;-) I now have aboard my boat a Hamilton Beach electric kettle, and that is the about the best appliance I've ever owned. It boils water in 3 freakin' minutes. I've also gotten a Hamilton beach blender which is twice as good as the (really expensive) Cuisinart I had. I rarely used that blender, but the stirring blade froze up, and Cuisinart refused to give me a new one--they wanted about 35 bucks to replace it, so the blender ended up in the trash, with the rest of the Cuisinart crap I bought, before I knew any better.
