Thanks for letting me be apart of this video. Hope y'all like the video guys Sean is a great guy and does amazing work.. y'all show him much love. Thanks
A new upload from Sean? What a blessed day this is! Now I await the next “The Thing With Two Heads” episode! I can’t wait to hear you and Chris discuss Halloween Kills in depth!
Hell yes. I been thinking a lot about it and Michael was so awesome here. When the angry mob surrounded him I think he was actually excited. I loved how he paused and let them all see his face before putting his mask back on and letting them see his REAL face.
In the original Halloween II, there were only a handful of staff/patients in the hospital. I felt like they overcompensated for this in this film... Haddonfield Memorial was as busy as downtown Chicago.
Did you see how many patients were in and coming in? Halloween 2 no one showed up except that one kid. If you have 100 patients there isn't gonna be 4-5 people working. Besides this was a more realistic hospital setting. ANyone who watched H2 the first time always comment on how a big ass hospital is so empty with no lights on. It felt fake, while HK felt real.
The “Evil Dies Tonight” did get a little goofy , but I feel like David Gordon Green and Danny McBride did a great job with this film overall, they even mention Ben Tramer! Chris Nelson and his FX team hit it out of the park with all the kills
This was incredible Sean. Thank you so much for the hard work in putting this together. I loved every minute of it. Just saw the film last night and it being so fresh in my mind I was able to recall the spots your point out from the film. That is so cool about Doug Tait. I had no idea. He’s awesome. You are the best Sean. Thank you again for all you do
Just got back from seeing Halloween Kills with my wife and my son Michael (yes, I named him after you-know-who). LOVED IT. I was unfortunately super-spoiled on this movie a year ago, but thankfully my son and wife was not. SO HAPPY with this film.
What's interesting is after 10 films they finally began filming these movies in an area that does look more like how a small midwestern town does look (particularly this film as you see more of the town). It's just a nice touch that likely means nothing to anyone but me. Ha!
What a great video, it was an honor meeting you at Monster Mania. I was dressed as Myers and you asked a woman to take a picture. (The picture ended up being complete blurry garbage) but It was really nice meeting someone like you who has met so many franchise greats like Nick Castle.
I always imagined that Michael *did* come back and move the bodies while Lindsey was still hiding, which might explain why she was in a different spot when she crawled out. Maybe she moved to a new spot to remain hidden while he did his business
Yeah but the question is when did Michael come back to move and place the bodies, that’s a legit plot hole in the film? I can certainly over look it but, I’m a very observant person. I would’ve liked to have seen that scene of her moving to avoid being seen by Myers
@@MyNameIsChapel I would’ve liked to have seen that and cut down on the chanting of “evil dies tonight” which I agree was a bit quarky but, I’m nitpicking again lol .
I loved this episode Sean! , I have been a Halloween fan 🎃 since I was a child, and I never miss your videos, you have a fan directly from Mexico 🇲🇽 , Greetings!
Thank you so much Sean for bringing us these videos and the behind the scenes experiences you have. For many of us this is the closest we will get, so it really is awesome of you to do
Thanks for the walkabout Sean, interesting locations. Sad to see you found the set building where Brandon died, what a good actor he was and what a great movie The Crow is. One of my all time favorite movies.
That was good!! I loved the sisters in the park swinging and being little shits..Aside from the kills that interaction was one of my faves of the movie.
Great job with your research and showing us the locations. I used to live in Charleston where they shot the 2018 movie and seeing Wilmington is actually making miss the southeast a bit. The sporadic weather was the norm there haha
Best part is when he says evil dies tonight was the worst part of the movie and the guy says. “That was a special moment for everyone on set”. Glad you said that lol he needed to hear it.
The fact that most critics are NOT happy with the film, because they didn't add anything "new" to the story is comical. Other than trying to explain the force behind Michael in H5/H6, there has never been anything more to this story, except gore; suspense and more gore. You have to take the franchise at face value.
This movie was not very good though lol. The problem isn't that they didn't add anything new. It's that they didn't further the story established in Halloween 2018. The plot was literally on pause in this film. Laurie lays in a hospital bed while Michael kills randoms that we've never seen before for the entire movie. Nothing actually happened in this film, it's just a collection of murder scenes. Sure, it's fun at times and looks/sounds great, but there's no plot.
@@deathbyslipknot It depends on how you look at it. They didn’t do anything to further the story in 2018 that hadn’t been done with past sequels in the franchise. People got sentimental/nostalgic for 2018, because they went back to the beginning of the franchise to continue the story (again) from 1978. The storyline from the ’78 film is VERY basic and a straight up slasher film. They did bring to light the fact that he was NOT after Laurie, Michael‘s doctor brought him there. It’s Laurie who has an obsession with killing Michael. Laurie was just one of MANY victims that came across Michael's path. As Loomis stated, “He’s pure evil”. People are still associating the story line as just Michael and Laurie, but Green and McBride changed that this time around. Going back to “pure evil”. He’ll kill anyone and anything. The whole plot about going after his family was abandoned after being added in H4. It’s funny how people question the lack of progression in the storyline and not Michael’s physical threshold. How he’s able to take all kinds of hits and blows to the body, particularly having his fingers blown off by a shotgun and a pitchfork to the back. You could also add to the storyline, that it’s about the townspeople fighting back against evil as a whole. Body count sequels are nothing new. Universal Monster movies pretty much started the standard of sequels with their line of monsters. The Creature From the Black Lagoon was considered a great movie in its time, but the two sequels were panned for no creativeness and lack of story. The original purpose for making a movie is to tell a story on film, but people just want to cash in on the sequels whether it has a great plot or not. I love horror movies, but none of the scare me. Hi, thank you for showing the locations. My interpretation of the park scene with the bridge is that Lindsey hid against the tree, then crawled down into the river and moved towards the bridge as Michael came back and moved the bodies. Lindsey has mud on her face and her clothes and hair are all wet like she was hiding or crawling. Let me know what you all think. Thanks

I was recently at the park and the swings (maybe not the chains) were all brand new, the city probably dumped the old ones. 😆 I was part of the hospital mob, only at the studio but got in a few scenes. Being in a Halloween movie AND actually filming on Halloween, I'll never top that one! 🎃 Great video by the way! 👍
I know the "Evil Dies Tonight" chants seemed cheesy and the delivery a little ham handed, but with the town so thirsty with bloodlust I didn't find it too far fetched which I thought was David Gordon Green's intention. You can literally see the crazy in their eyes especially when the mob rules scene happens. Well done Sean! Looking forward to your Halloween Ends Horror's Hallowed Grounds next year! 🎃

Awesome video man! So that "Haddonfield Park" in Wilmington is actually called the "Wallace Park" (Such a nice reference to the Wallace House in - from Halloween 1 and the one on the Halloween 4 poster!)
I worked in an office on the Screen Gems studio lot and the stage where Brandon Lee died, had a nice plaque at the main door, honoring him. Frank Capra JR. ran the studio back then. Super nice guy, lots of stories about his career and his dad's. A little Trivia, Jamie Lee Curtis did another film at Screen Gems back in 1999, with Billy Baldwin, called Virus.
Wow! I finally saw Halloween kills today, and now I get to watch your location video. The film was great, I really enjoyed it. Thanks for this video, it was really cool of that guy to show you the hospital exterior shots and extra stuff. I really liked how you added Dr Loomis’ voice in there. Bummed about a few deaths though but it was good and cool seeing him in theaters again Question for next 2 heads episode: not sure if this is possible but Thought of a cool idea maybe you or Chris could pass on where Michael is after someone and they hide in a room with the lights on but when Michael enters he turns them off to mess with who he’s after. I forgot to mention it to JJC at fantasm
