- Encounter: The Killing is a 2002 Indian Bollywood film produced and directed by Ajay Phansekar. This is the story of Sam Bharucha is an honest and diligent Police Inspector. He frequently comes across youth gangs, who call themselves bhai. One day during one of these patrols, there is a shoot-out between a youth gang and his police party. There is a twist in the plot as one of the youth belonged to an affluent family. Watch this movie to know what happens in the story further.

watching this movie after 16 years. Very nice movie indeed. With no superstars yet better than any criminal movie produced in the previous 10 years. One most underrated movie of Bollywood.

Before choosing a wrong path and taking extreme steps ,Young generation must NEVER forget, that their parents will suffer immense pain and suffering for the rest of their life .
one might ask, "how can a child with such great parents become a gangster?" The answer is simple. One has to draw a line between expectations and reality. Not all children can become doctors or engineers. When will parents understand that each child has a unique talent which needs to be explored and enhanced. Don't push your ambitions on to your children.

I just accidentally saw this movie and believe me this didnt had any so called superstars or big film banner or super hit music or songs but this happened to be a very nice coincidence, a very nice movie, well made with a message and super performance By Naseer as usual and ratna and akash khurana, even though the beginning was some typical gangster movie but later on it was really good but as usual with bollywood might not have been a commercial success or even released in the theaters i guess, but nevertheless a fine movie.
