In simple words if you have a very little free time and want to visit service center once in year then buy Honda, Maruti, Toyota, Kia and huandi cars.
If you have a more free time and able to visit service station twice in a year then buy Vw, Skoda,MG.
If you are totally free and want to visit service center frequently then choose the remaining.
You are wrong here with vw skoda. Just don't understand why do much negativity towards them.. people were doing the same with ford and finally we lost those gems. They are the most reliable. VW skoda are giving Indians the best in 20 lakh budget.

Hyundai and Maruti are reliable for initial 3-4 years...and then you get those annoying niggles that blow hole in pocket
Tata and more specifically Mahindra had understood that if they need to survive they need to follow the footsteps of Hyundai which Maruti had been doing since 2003.
Whenever Hyundai launched a new product Maruti will follow suit with an identical product. Hyundai Santro became so popular that Maruti launched Wagon R, Baleno sedan was launched against Hyundai Accent, Ritz was launched against Getz, Ciaz for Venra and so on.
Mahindra associated with Korean car manufacturer by investing in Ssangyong to technically upgrade their products, that's how XUV 500 was born and quality products coming thereafter.
Tata's take over of Jaguar and thus creating a vision and road map for their future.
There are other manufacturers who are in their own world, lets see what lies ahead for them.

Sir....u r told about turbo engine....it's very true and justified.....in the year 2004 purchased Mahindra Scorpio 2.6 dlx .... having yellow tag on its dash board.....there were some written about the turbo engine which is similar which u said in this session.

My Tata Zest petrol car bought in 2014 is going strong for the past 10 years, driven close to 1 lakh km. The car has a turbocharged 90ps engine and right from day1 I have been performing engine idling.

I understand that when you start the turbo charged vehicle in the morning after overnight, you need to idle but you are also saying that it should idle after a long journey but nowadays we have vhicles in bs6 phase 2 with ISS start and stop feature so engine gets shut off in the traffic so How will you deal with that situation, are you advicing us to put off that feature during highway runs?

Owning Renault kwid 2015 , i can say offers pocket friendly service but doesn't offer's piece of mind. My car manual say use 15 w -40 engine oil but i use 10 w 40 engine oil as easily available in market.
Only thing i changed to car in aftermarket is Day night irvm , anti fogh mirror Flim for orvm, engine guard for oil chambers and an upgrade to Sony speaker as oem speaker tend to rusting. Nevertheless Renault kwid never disappoint as first car .

sir maximum issue with DCT are due to mechatronic failure , and mechatronic failure cause engine to malfunction and which in turn damages engine mechanically , and mechatronic failure is considered customer induced issue hence it is not considered under warranty , and whatever is your issue in dct , company will simply say its mechatronics issue since you didnt put the car in parking mode in every traffic light

Don't spread so much negativity so that finally VW skoda will also leave indian market, the best cars we had Ford and Fiat are already gone.. Fiat had some problem and they trusted indian companies for service.. but ford was and still today provides the best service any other manufacturer provides in India.. Also you are so much biased against VW Skoda , they might cost more for paid service but if you own them , listen to the company, service at regular intervals from authorized service centers.. and they are reliable than any other cars in india today, considering you being loyal to brand service.

Regarding idleing time, Mahindra has microhydrid system ....it's just shuts the engine with in 5 sec....some times I forget to turn off this .... system.
Idling here means not idling while starting car every time, but after a long halt as night halt to give brief time let oil flow happens before turbo spools in at very high rpms (for ref turbo can spin at 2 lakh revolution per minute).

First of all why car mabufacturers are unnecessarily giving 1-1.2 Ltr turbo engines. They don't make any sense. Instead they can provide 1.5 NA engines in cars like i20, Venue etc. 1 Ltr turbo too is expensive and it's a smaller displacement engine. Also, cost of 1 Liter or 1.2 Ltr turbo engines is nowhere economical. For what purpose are we getting it and where you gonna use that Turbo engines in start stop or crawling traffic. Even with 1.5 Ltr 4 cylinder NA engines cost will remain almost the same. Say no to 1-1.2 Ltr turbo engines till sub 4 m cars. Now manufacturers reducing weight of cars to provide us mileage with 1.2 Ltr NA engines. Absurd tactic. In India they providing 1.5 NA engines only in bigger cars like they are extremely big engines for performance cars. There 1.5 Ltr 4 cylinder Turbo engines make some sense. Not for cars below 4 m length. Anyways general masses want EV cars from manufacturers from Honda stable. It's better to own an EV with so much complexity getting added with petrol engines. Problem is there is no EV yet which has Brezza sort space based on pure EV architecture. Nor we are surplus energy nation yet
Wow what an observation sir........but we Indians tend to run after features rather than the hardware of the car......... because of tht Ford fiat Citroen etc failed in India .........these companies are like carrier in ac the inventors. But we are ready to pay 13 lakhs for a venue that comes with a 6lakh i10 engine and we Indians are happy about it.

@@sensocaredelhi2292 Citroen is failing bcz of their tactics. First car was way too expensive and it's nowhere near to Fortuner. C3 came then it doesn't feels plush nor they had automatic as an option. Now all the cars they are bringing like C3 Aircross or upcoming Basalt etc all are coming with Turbo engines. Neither they are giving features as per segment, nor anything else that's extraordinary from the crowd. Only few purchase Turbo engines. Majority purchases NA engines still bcz many want less maintenance. If something goes wrong in Turbo engines then they are highly expensive for repair. Neither they have provided features till Punch EV level nor interior seems premium. About crash test rating no one knows. There was some NCAP rating for C3 then it came with zero stars. For what you gonna invest in their products then. Neither product feels premium, availability of spare parts will remain a concern, nor features. Their product should have been like even if it was expensive than others but offered something extraordinary. Can they provide you paint or rusting warranty like VW group ? They provide engine warranty of 40 K kms only
They still have a long way to go to get public's trust. Neither they can make you feel premiumness like MG or Hyundai.
Fiat or Ford case is different. Ford left for what reasons we actually don't know. Ford Ecosport was selling quite well and even without too many fancy features most would have loved to buy it still. They incurred losses due to their management or less sales we can't say.
Fiat made extremely good cars but they were unfortunate as people here tend to run after only few brands here. Punto, Linea and others were good cars. Now we get unsafe cars loaded with features which most won't use much. Sunroof, Wireless Chargers etc how much one gonna actually use.
@@sensocaredelhi2292 and you have forgotten Venue N line with 1 Ltr turbo engine whose cost goes to 14-16 lacs. 1 Ltr 3 cylinder turbo engine for what we need at that cost when people getting 1.5 Ltr 4 cylinder Turbo engines around 17-18 lacs price in cars like Creta or others. Neither it can provide mileage. Tata is giving only 1.2 Ltr engine in all it's cars inspite them being heavy. What is all this ? Why can't they provide 1.3-1.5 Ltr 4 cylinder engines I literally don't understand.

My openion is not to buy extended warranty. Why, see you get 2 years of standard warranty with your new car. If at all any issue you get with manufacturing fualt you will get it in first year not any more after that it will be on Good Insurance. Ymtrust me you will rarely use extended warranty.

Sir. Your video's makes so much sense.. but i think you faced some hardships with skoda vw that you don't even consider them reliable. The best reliable cars in Indian currently are Ford cars like last gen figo,Freestyle and ecosport for 2nd hand market. Japanese are good but not Koreans you gets parts anytime fir Koreans but they lack reliability. VW skoda are definitely reliable than Koreans considering you do every 15k service from authorized service centers every year.. don't even dare to play with extra fittings, modifications on these germens outside dealership/service center. These new gen Germans are a gem if you compare with what quality Indian/Japanese/Koreans are offering. Only plus about Koreans are some soft touch plastics inside
