21:32 yes, the drag inside does happen even though there’s something in front of it. Edit: also, the reason it’s pushing down into the track is because of the downwards-facing wedges on the front more so than the center of thrust.
This is a pretty cool idea. You should be able to mitigate a lot of the collisions at the front of the train by smoothing the lower-front of the engine with rounded or sloped bricks. I'll be awaiting follow up videos to see how you get on with this! (Also you might suggest to the devs that a train expansion would be a fun idea!)
Cool concept I just thought about flipping the barriers to have something to grip on the bottom so you could hover at max height but grab underneath with wheels making it more consistent height wise to make clipping potentially not happen
Yo this is awesome! There is a glitch where wheels facing the ground with the hub part parallel and the tiers horizontal has zero friction. I believe that there could be a chance to use that potentially.
I think the small amount of lift created by the fins on the rear sides of your engine and car may be causing you to nose down more, which is probably adding to your issues of hitting the rail with the front. Maybe moving those to the front ends would help with that?
I keep having to squint at these thumbnails because they look a lot like stormworks when backing away 😂 then I see “low gravity train” and I’m like stormworks? Noooooo. I can’t tell you how many times I mixed it up with this game

nice video
if you have space in your build it still count as drag
talking with experience
Good to know! Will keep in mind on future builds.
Could you post this map on the workshop I would love to make a mono train of my own 😊
yeah give a few days to fix the bumps in the track and i will
@ thanks!
I've wanted to do this but using the concrete dispense to lay tracks ahead of me... yeah, doubt that would work.
@@Sir_1976scrap man did it or found one that did it
