Safety of IVF treatments using third party reproduction- the psychological aspect.

A landmark study recently published in the Journal of Developmental Psychiatry studied the psychological well being and quality of family relationships. They compared children conceived naturally and through Assisted Reproductive Techniques using third party reproduction. At 20 years follow up, they reported similar psychological status and family relationships between the two groups.
This study reinforces the psychological safety of fertility treatments.
