Seriously though, I think it's just a matter of acting really (like jumping when disguised as scout etc.) and maybe the fact that the footages are quite old and people are way more skilled now (which I don't really know if it's true as I'm kind of new to TF2, that's just what looks like tbh)

+MrPaladin most people think spy is a easier class than say, sniper, due to how many changes and buffs it got from gun mettle, it is far from that, since after gun mettle everyone is far more aware of spies simply because of how dangerous he has now become,.
+Mr.Potato you shouldnt beg for a youtuber to trade with you, a scammer may notice and imitate the real Mr.P and then you may get scammed, then again if he does want to trade you he will just say so.
I absolutely love these videos! I always imagine those _really good spies_ as mean creatures, hiding in corners, muttering profanities, spamming "thank you" after every kill... But this paints a much less terrifying picture! He's not misanthropic, he's just a dork! :D

I admit that today was a good day to backstab, everyone was turning his back to me today, and at some point, i find myself in an crisis of identity, asking myself:"Am i Mr.Paladin?" Btw cheers for your 20th how a spy thinks! These videos help me a lot, and i've improved so much at being a spy, but i still now prefer to fill them with raimbows (melt them) and give them some candies.

He seems to play more with being sneaky and minimizing the time anyone sees you at all. That's one of the only two ways I play spy. Although I am curious, do you ever play "battle" spy. Basically, you go for backstabs when you can, but primarily you are focused on using your gun, and sticking closer to your team than a traditional spy.
Do you think via various buffs and stacks that someone could resist a backstab? Like a hoovy with the chocolate bar, some soldiers using ALL of the buffs possible and dispensers and medics and all that?
I always thought about why medics could catch up to some classes, but never knew. Thanks for the info. So much Star Wars, thinking about watching the upcoming movie or planning to play Battlefront?
did anybody else notice how slow the knife holstered, compare this knife holster with future episodes you will see a difference, and i am wondering how do i go from the future fast holster to the slow holster like in this video? please let me know i have been looking for ages. Thnx
Watch the medic with a pink hat. Pr. Paladin avoids him for the reasons given, but also because he switches to his weapons as soon as there's trouble. He gets to walk free 3 or more times in one round because he was prepared to fight back. Now, watch NISLT's videos. The number one killer of medics (which doesn't happen in competitive videos) is that they turn and run instead of backpedaling with their weapon. Be a better medic: know that you have a gun and a knife and be prepared to use them.
Whenever I play spy, I tend to only disguise as scouts if they're wielding the Baby Face Blaster because makes the slower speed is a bit more believable.
Did u do one with the red tape recorder? I haven't watched all the videos so I don't know. Also I picked up tf2 a few days ago and I want to get better at spy, could u teach me some stuff? I use steam for it.
I think the spy was stabbing the pole because he was testing out the Australium Knife you had dropped on your Dead Ringer. Its happened to me many times too :)
(Spoiler slert for those who haven't seen the video) This gameplay is proof that even if you are a good player, it means nothing if your team isn't. I mean, he died only a handful of times, and got about 5x the amount of kills compared to his deaths, had his priorities straight with the cart, knew who to target first, yet he still lost.
