I’m not sure what it was about this video but Josh is a fantastic interviewer. He gets the info but also goes deeper into their thought process and even challenges them into what could be done better or what could be beneficial. Josh is an inspiration. (Start a podcast)
Josh is an awesome interviewer going in depth and asking the questions everyone wants to ask when they watch a tank tour. Keep up the great work!!!! Give josh more tank tours......PLEASE!!!!
Awesome tank, important message, and a great interview! Addressing the title of the video…. These are not “basic” corals. This gentleman clearly has access to a LOT of high end corals through his social network that he likely gets for a relatively low cost because of the fact he A. Doesn’t care about the names (awesome, I’m with him in this 100%) and B. He is getting these from friends (also a HUGE fan of this!) Capitalism is a huge threat to this hobby (lifestyle?) and a flashy name is all just marketing. Giving a buddy a frag of a sweet coral for a great price (or free!) is one of my favorite things. Again, these are not basic corals but his approach to the hobby seems pure (and, to be fair, well funded.) and I dig that. Keep it up Phil!
Im with you. I helped a friend start an outdoor saltwater tank with frags I freely gave him .. look up G.A.R.F. or G.O.R.F. they have their own island and teach you how to start frags. They sell frags cheap and their in Idaho😂😂😂🤙🌊🦆
Awesome, you guys have made me dream of having a reef tank! For the past 2 years, I've been watching all the reefing content like it's CNN. I hope one day I'll have one of my own! form Poland ! Just like you advice... you must be patient :D
I'd argue there is nothing 'basic' about what Mr. Haro is doing. That is a beautiful tank. The tremendous focus the coral industry has on fake-hype and creating nonsense names to drive fads, is a tremendous disservice to there own industry. And suggesting a coral isn't stunning because it's been in the hobby for several decades, or because it doesn't have a fancy name; is a disservice to the animals we keep. Great underlying message. And a beautiful tank Phil
Hope everyone is well and safe due to the hurricane. It would be great to see a video of behind the scenes of what y’all do to prepare for hurricanes and what the backups are !
I got my Goldflake super small. I don’t keep coral in that tank, but Mr. Goldflake figured out how to eat all my shrimp over the last 3 months. It waits until they molt. I started off with 12 cleaners and 2 fire shrimp.. 1 fire left :). Have had GF 5-6 years
@@WorldWideCorals I was wondering I am coming to the US next week, for work unfortunately not to Florida, but New Jersey can you recommend any mega-reef stores New Jersey/New York area? Your shop is definately on the agenda next time I am in Florida.

Agreed, an awesome interviewer.
Agreed!
Totally. Would love to see Josh doing more of these tank interviews
Absolutely love his mindset! He don't chase the names of the corals he just gets what he likes! Beautiful set up!
Thats the thing, He gets what HE likes and that should be all that matters.
PHIL THE RAFFLE MAN!! The guy who makes every ticket a treasure, proving hard work can be a real pleasure!
Btw props to Josh on this one! Great video fellas 🤙

Start with a Nano reef tank🤙🌊🦆🇺🇸
@@SurferDuck-w7v Nano can have its challenges as well, but when you get them right you can beat it.

Sorry Vic he killed it
Glad you liked the video! Josh and Vic have their own styles and they compliment each other very well.
Absolutely happy with my no fancy name corals
Named or unnamed, a beautiful coral is a beautiful coral!
i’ve been in the hobby for about 6 years… this is who i wanna be long-term.
Just keep at it, You will learn something new every day.

I will pass that idea along to the video team.
The Goldflake Angel is gorgeous.
A stunning Angel
And expensive!
Beautiful tank Phil!! It was awesome meeting you.
Wow he’s got some incredible corals. Some torches that I’ve never seen before.
That is why we love traveling and seeing all of these amazing tanks, We get to show everyone so much cool stuff.
When I was in the biz in the late 90’s I was selling Lemar aquarium. Great company!
Holding up very well for the age.
Phil has a great set up with some beautiful corals & fish. Nice job Josh on the tank tour.

Great video Josh, giving Vic a run for his money. Liked how you got into some deeper details.
Josh has a long way to go but hr did an amazing job.

Hi WWC Fam sending love from Edmonton Canada
Hello From Orlando Florida!!!
Can Josh do more interviews? Pls and ty!
we will see what we can do :)
Awesome set up! What light mount is he using? Was planning on using ai blades and xr30 pros on my 7ft tank. Haven’t decided on which mount.
Hopefully Phil can chime in here with that information. Thanks for watching!!!!
Very nice! What type of Anemones are those? Colorado?
I think they are chicago sunburst nems, I might be wrong though
At 7:06, what is the coral that has a bunch of colors to the left of the green acro? I want it!!
PC Rainbow Acro?
Man of my own heart I do the same thing
Haha, Great minds think alike.
Guys, what lens for your cam do use?
I will ask the video team which camera they are using
@@WorldWideCorals Thanks all!
Nice tank ... realy love that is simple.... ( 48x30x20 is 125 gallons ...not 150 )
48x30x24
@@Slimathyhustles sorry my bad !!
I wish where i lived reef keeping was more viable. Indiana sucks for aquarium keeping all the way around lol.
Is the community not big by you?
@WorldWideCorals I'm the only reefer ik and I started 3 months ago. Ordering through you and buying dry rock from petsmart
7:19 get another tank😊
Sometimes that is all we can do haha
💯👏👌🙌🔥
Thank you for watching guys
Phil's like me... I buy corals off of looks, not names. I only have 3 named SPS in my tank.
as long as you like it that is all that matters.
Agreed I couldn't even tell you the names in my tank 🤣 I just go oooohhh I like that one!!! I'll take it!! 😅
Wait - Phil got a tank?
no hype
has all hype torches lol
