While Ed and Dexter didn't intend for any of this. What really irked me was that Dexter's friend snuck out of the car, ran off like an annoying cowardly spineless chicken wimp, leaving Dexter to take the blame and responsibility for the problem. I really wanted to chase him down and force him to go down with Dexter. If his friend Dexter is going through that insanity, so is he. Even if I had to handcuff him to Dexter while I tossed the key down a storm drain. Let's see him try to run from that now.
you know i actually did the math one time on how long it would take dexter to pay off all the repairs on both vehicles, which was $4400 while making $5 an hour which was of course his salary at good burger, basically if dexter worked the maximum legal amount of hours for a minor in california, 48 a week, every week and he somehow saved 100% of every paycheck it would take him around 880 hours or roughly 4 1/2 months to pay it all off which we can assume would be way after his mom got back from wherever she was, even if she left for an entire summer theres still no way he'd have enough time, unless maybe he used some of the money he scammed off ed and his sauce to pay for it but if he was making an honest living no way.
Actually, the only quoted figure is $1900, and at full-time minimum wage, he'd only have to work 8 weeks. Considering the state of his mom's car at the accident, I doubt it would cost $2500 to fix, especially if it only cost $1900 to repair a much more valuable car.
